Sadly, our society is transforming their attitudes to the same as the OP's..at least in the restaurant business.

I think you're like that kid on Gizmodo who decided to get an Apple Care plan on his phone (iPhone 3G) after two years of being submerged in water....

The McDonald's customer was careless to let herself get burned BUT McD's should never have had their coffee so hot as to be capable of causing her degree of injury. That's the only reason she ever won that case. There wouldn't be a dime had it been typical industry temperature. I believe there'd been prior complaints/warnings too.

Sorry for the digression. ITA too much time has passed for the OP.

So basically you want a free upgrade to a 4S now that its out?

Precisely what I got out of it. If you really, really think the reception is that bad. The only thing you MIGHT get is a refurbished iPhone. That is unless, of course, you wait another 2 months until that warranty is gone too.

+1 I wish more people realized this. No coffee should be so hot as to cause injuries that extensive - that was the carelessness on McDs part. If anyone tried drinking that, they'd probably have a reaction that cause them to spill too.

So after owning it for 10 months now you want a refund. If it was that bad you would have returned the phone after a short period of time.

It's like me eating a chocolate bar and then saying i didn't like it after its all gone :D

Just YES or NO, no need to laugh at him like the Apple dudes...

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney during interrogation; if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you.

Those are you rights.
