iPhone 4 Owner Upgrade Eligibility

Mine says 12/2012, but that's also because I used my early upgrade to go from the black iPhone to the white iPhone.

It's pretty much the same with the family plan. The primary line carries the weight so they reap the benefits as such.

I'm not with AT&T but I looked on their website. I think it would be best if you called customer service and talked it up with them, no one can tell you better than the company :)
 
I purchased my iP4 in July of 2010. Here is what it says on AT&T when I look up my account.....


You can take advantage of our no commitment pricing. This line may qualify for an equipment discount on 12/18/2011

And then immediately below.....

Select iPhone Upgrade

As a valued AT&T customer, you qualify for a discounted iPhone upgrade at two-year commitment pricing plus $250, along with a two-year commitment and an $18 upgrade fee. Please proceed with the online upgrade process for pricing details. You may qualify for a full discount on a standard iPhone upgrade on 12/18/2011.

So if this does not change with the next iPhone, I guess I have the choice of paying $268 (just to upgrade) in addition to whatever the 2 yr. contract price of the next iPhone is going to be.

I don't know. I mean, this is a bridge I'll cross when I know exactly what is being offered. Given the rumors, one second it's going to be only the 4S, the other it's a 4S and 5.

I know if it's just a 4S coming this fall, I will absolutely not upgrade. However if the 5 is for real and it has what I want, well........

Just a note on this, ATT upped there early upgrade fee to $250, where as if you go to the apple site and order it directly from them the early upgrade fee is only $200. Do yourself a favor and purchase it directly through Apple if you don't wait for full eligibility.

I pre-orderd the iPhone 4 and am on a family plan with my wife. We are paying about $200 a month :mad:. I am not eligible until 11/17/2011 and I am the primary phone on the account.
 
I'm eligible on 2/11/2012 and I pay around $105 a month.

Any chance this eligibility will come sooner with the announcement of the iPhone 5 like someone said above?

I just lost my iPhone 4 and, well, yeah...

That's what i'm hoping for. I got my iPhone 4 on launch day and my upgrade is currently 11/25. I'm not sure if it's because my last upgrade when I got the 4 was an early upgrade or not. AT&T would be foolish to not bump the upgrade dates, especially with the added competition from Verizon.

I got the iPhone 4 the day it released and I checked my account last night, and much to my surprise, I am already available for an upgrade. Before, it wasn't until November 25.

This is fantastic for me. I already had the money set back for the iPhone 5 and all I am nervous about now is what is included in the next iPhone.

Never know. AT&T might push up those dates by 6 months which makes you eligible.
 
Where I live I've never had contracts. Just buy the iPhone unlocked for the full price. When you guys upgrade do you give your phone back for the new one or do you keep it?
