Cant compare battery life. The EVO is doing way more than the iPhone 4 even dreams of being capable of. And EVO is on Sprint, so what's the point of a comparison. If I wanted to go to Sprint I already would have. I've decided to hope and pray that the new antenna setup on the i4 means I wont drop every other call now, but my hopes arent high.

this is odd because i always hear quite the opposite. i and everyone i know have great coverage with att. i guess it depends on location more than anything.

I dont know what Evo does way more than what iPhone 4 can do in dreams.

I have the Evo for 2 weeks now. Sprint coverage at my place is on par with AT&T coverage. I had very few dropped calls with AT&T/iPhone in the past 3 years (Minneapolis, Charlotte). Signal also was very good in general. Sprint/Evo experience has been the same. There have been a couple of dropped calls in the past 2 weeks and the signal seems to be good (there are fluctuations sometimes).

4.3" screen makes the phone a tab too big and heavy. Android is no way closer to iOS in terms of UI Polish and Simplicity.

I am eagerly waiting for the 24th to pick up my new iPhone 4 and return the Evo :D

Would you take one day on a full battery to continuously stream Pandora as a test and compare the battery life? I assume the other phone has a Pandora app. I use iSub app on my iPhone 3G to stream my audio collection (negating the 8GB capacity of my iPhone) but since Pandora is free and popular I hope you can use it to really drain the battery down for comparison. That's my suggestion anyway.

which ones is a better defensive weapon?
Which one is best to use as a brick to "send a message"? if you know what i mean (actually i mean: i think the EVO is ****ing HUGE and is a brick)

My coverage is fine, and then boom no bars and the calls get dropped. Only happens with the iPhone. Other AT&T phones don't do it. I hope its fixed or I'll just dump the iPhone and use a Go phone and a new Touch.

EVO doesn't do everything for you, no. EVO also doesn't decide how you should do everything either. Choice is why someone goes to an Android phone. As for what it does that the iPhone doesn't, 4G, infinitely bigger screen to power, higher res cameras, free tethering and wifi hotspotting with apps, widgets etc etc. Doing a comparison between these phones accomplishes two things only-ticks off one group of fanboys and please other fanboys. Its pointless.
