I upgraded to iOS 4 on my 3GS but now I want to downgrade back to 3.1.3 and jailbreak. I saved my SHSH blobs on Cydia. is there a good guide for doing this?? I read quite a bit by Googling but every set of instructions is slightly different and now I'm in brain lock. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks.

Did you check iclarified? I believe there's a good guide there.

Guys I keep getting same error with both versions of tinyumbrella, I have 32 bit Java installed and iTunes 9.2. This happens even if iphone is not connected

Try new version 4.00.26

This is my first time doing this (I upgraded from a 3G). What is the last message I should see in TinyUmbrella to show it did upload it to Cydia? I had already saved it to my hard drive.

Hm, I'm pretty sure I followed the directions and the TinyUmbrella thing said that I was okay, but Cydia still isn't reporting that I have a 4.0 SHSH saved. It's been 14 hours since I did it, how long does it usually take Cydia's server to update?

Much longer, Saurik's servers have to collect over 2 million SHSH blobs. It took 3 weeks for my 3.1.3 SHSH to show up in Cydia.

As long as it's on your computer, you are good anyway.

I couldn't get the beta version to work on my iMac running 10.6.4. It kept asking for my admin password but never recognized it. I even changed my admin password, still would not recognize it. Finally had to run the Windows version.

Same problem here, it just asks for my password over and over.

You have to extract the program out of the dmg file. In other words, once you extract the dmg and you see the tinyumbrella program open in another windows, copy and paste it out of that window and onto your desktop or something. Then double-click the one on your desktop and it will accept your password. I was having the same problem as you until I read about doing this on the tiny umbrella website. That will take care of the issue for you.

I see now. I already got it working on my Windows computer but thanks anyways.
