I returned my iPhone 4 as well.

3/4 of my calls were dropped even after I got the bumper. Glitches/crashes as well. Never had any problems with my 3G or 3GS

I don't see any need for flaming on here, just like him I am a loyal Apple fan but am simply dissatisfied with the product. Maybe if they fix it I will get another someday.

Not too happy about how Apple has handled the situation, others' phones might be fine to me it's a faulty product and they have done nothing to resolve this issue.

Step 1 complete

Went to the AT&T store and ported my number back to the 3G iphone. Back to no dropped calls and no proximity sensor issue. Withdrawal symptoms, none so far!

Next step - return the iphone at the apple store.

And those of you who are upset about this thread, I wonder what your motive is. Why do you so vehemently defend, a new revision of a product that is flawed. The answer to that could be that you own apple stock and you can't stand to see the price of the stock go down.

I don't see why people get so upset either over a phone. I do find the constant "twitter" type of threads to be annoying at this point though.

good for you. The iphone 4 is the best phone I have ever owned.

Unfortunately, as a phone, it just did not work for me. However, it was the best portable multimedia device that I'd ever owned. . Since I returned mine, I am now eligible for an upgrade again. Will order after the announcement tomorrow. And then, I too, like you, will own the best phone ever made!

How come cases have now become reception issue solvers, where are the good old days that they just protected the phone?

Just think now you are getting better bang for you buck. You are getting a protective case and a reception solver for the same price!
