Had same problem, it's solved: replace shoddy adapter!!

Just thought I'd add my two cents here.

I'd been having this exact problem forever and it really was a darn pain, often found myself yanking the cord out on frustration after my cursor was jumping all around the screen doing crazy things (big mobilemouse fan).

Long story short, happened on this thread tonight looking for a fix
to the problem, and then tried using another charger I have (it's the exact same model of charger, the apple one that came with my iPhone 4). Problem was immediately solved. Might try to get some money back from appe now, hey, maybe there's even class action lawsuit material here if it happens these same faulty chargers (of which I am obviously not the only
possessor) cause fires for some people or something. Also, withe the faulty charger, it kept stopping charging and I would have to unplug
and replug. Thought it was the outlet at fist. Changed adapters tho and Now no more. That adapter was
totally shoddy, in sum,

EXCHANGE YOUR ADAPTER/CABLE FOR ANOTHER BECAUSE
IT IS A FLAW AND SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING.

My iPhone 4S does this exact same thing it is so bloody annoying. I have tried all manners of cables and chargers!! This is some fault with the iPhone. No matter if it is an apple cable or not. If I plug it into my MacBook Pro or the wall the screen goes nuts! Fed up there is no fixing this I have tried everything, brand new cables, factory restore the works!! Apple used to have amazing products worth the extra money and they really used to stand behind their product but as of late things all seem to be subpar including their warranty service they are money grubbing like all the rest. My last iPhone the charge port corroded after only five months of use a fifty cent part!! They refused to fix it but exchanged the phone at a 200 dollar cost it was pathetic. I am done with apple and I used to be one of their biggest fans! They are no longer worth the extra money their products cost! Android here I come!
