If they improve signal reception, I'm getting it.

I'm not talking only about that famous left corner issue.

What a load of B.S.

The iP4 has been proven to have reception that is at least as good and usually better than all previous iPhones.

You are either a troll or very misinformed.

A global phone that works on all networks would make the most sense. It would allow Apple to enter any carrier with a single device, not separate ones.

Am I ever glad I passed on the iPhone 4 because if this is true I would be really mad if I was one of the first buyers. But in reality Steve doesn't give a crap what you think, it all boils down to Apple removing your hard earned money from your pocket.

*looks at your posting history*

Quit trolling.

Well, evidence goes to differ. Verizon has now bragging rights about carrying the iPad, which they could since Day 1 because of Mi-Fi. But it is until now that they can say "in a PARTNERSHIP WITH APPLE". Before, no chance.

I think the following quote sums this up best:

"On the other hand, Apple deciding to let someone else carry and sell the iPad is not really anything new. You can now find the tablet on sale at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Target. One could argue this is simply Apple doing their best to get the iPad in as many hands as possible. "

I'm sure if VzW was expecting a CDMA iphone they would be expecting a CDMA ipad too. So why push the wifi Verizon + MiFi if the 3g enabled version is around the corner?

antenna issue

Speaking about the antenna issue, i wonder how many iPhone 4's are out there that dont have that issue compared to the ones that do?

Because if Apple comes out with a fixed (antenna issue fix) updated new iPhone 4 before everyone's warranty runs out, it will be a PR nightmare again for them.

Has anyone exchanged their iP4 recently for a newer one to see if the phone still has the antenna issue?

What evidence is there that a CDMA iPad is "around the corner?" None.

Let's assume that the iPad 2.0 has CDMA capability. It may not come until March or April, and when it does come, availability will surely be very low for the first few months, as it was with the iPad 1.0. I don't think Verizon wants to sit on the sideline for six months, and then another few months until production ramps up to the necessary capacity.

I never had an antenna issue.
I love the iPhone 4 but I have a serious issue witht he proximity sensor.
I am still in the middle of call backs from their executive offices.
Next step is replacing the phone once again.

I bet any phones that come out after the 4 will have this issue fixed.

I've had 3 different iphone 4's (1 new, 2 replacements) and they all have the antenna issue. I use a case, so it doesn't affect me anymore, but it does exist. I know at least 15 people that own them and we all have that issue without cases. I think the "affected users" S.J. mentioned is so low because people were so happy with the phone(other than that issue) that they never mentioned it. I know i never called because I'm 1000% sure it's a hardware issue. A software update won't fix it. I think some people are so into Apple that they won't even acknowledge when somethings wrong. Whatever though, I must be happy with it to purchase another for my mom at full price.

I never said that. You misread what I said, or I just confused you. I'm pretty much saying by the "VzW iphone is almost here" logic then a Vzw ipad would be in the works as well...if there was a CDMA iphone coming. I don't believe a CDMA iphone is coming as my earlier post states. Don't put words in my mouth please.

Yeah i replaced mine once back in July, same Death Grip issue without a case, and also with mine, if you hold it in the death grip position long enough, the bars go away and the phone says searching... and i cant make or receive calls or get 3G internet, but with the bumper case on, it works fine.

Too Bad!!!

Awwww, too bad! Not as everyone have hope for! CMDA my asss! Get an iPhone 4 now and switch from Verizon to whatever...:p

I think less people admit it, but whatever.

I actually prefer it with some sort of case because it's easier to hold IMHO. The steel or whatever can be uncomfortable with its "sharp" edges with extended use.

That would be quite an engineering feat. Other Global phones are large and bulky. I'm not sure if the current architecture (thinness) can support multiple radios. It would also be cost prohibitive.

Confused .

Don't know what to do with my iphone 3g .
& don't know whether to get HTC or wait till Iphone 5 .
Makes me happy that iphone 5 may come sooner but it'll take MONTHS before one gets it with all the people ordering it . .__. *stumped*

so how long until a verizon iphone will be selling?

2007 "So how long until a verizon iphone will be selling?"
2008 "So how long until a verizon iphone will be selling?"
2009 "So how long until a verizon iphone will be selling?"
2010 "So how long until a verizon iphone will be selling?"
2011 "So how long until a verizon iphone will be selling?"

I feel bad for everyone who has been fooled by Verizon. They've held on to you for many years now.....with false hope.

I think the Verizon iPhone will come out sometime in the future. Probably sometime after today but before 2100.
