Just as with all the iPhone models, people need to specify the Android device and OS version they're talking about. Some are much faster and smoother than others.

Also, OP, have you chosen a carrier or set of carriers yet, and checked out their reception where you live?

Sorry, I wrote the wrong thing, what I mainly am asking is what makes the Droid so great? I am leaning toward the iPhone 4, but what makes the Droid so much better that it's a competitor?
Well you can make a call and use data in more places. I have both a 4 and a Droid X, for me the screen on the X because of the size is much better. I don't hold the phone up to my eye so Pixels don't really matter. A better multitasking experience on the X. Apps, my 4 by a mile but Android is catching up. I use Apple computer/ Apple TV/Ipad so my 4 for multimedia at home. If I could only have one it would be the Droid and a ipod touch, because of coverage.

Hmmm if you are car shopping you wouldn't word it that way. How about this:

"Hey I've been looking at Chevy's. What does Ford offer that Chevy doesn't?"

See how that works? ;)
It works quite well, as fanboys don't work at dealerships and understand how business works and having knowledge of whats available.
