F for not reading and assuming. First, I posted the ones in 1061. Second, it isn't the same.

Can you please only post 640x960 pictures instead of these 533x800 ones? This thread is for people looking for that resolution.
I just checked them on my phone and they are 640x960? Must have changed when I uploaded to photobucket. I will edit my post when I get home.
I just saved the image you posted. It fits perfect on the iphone 4 screen, nothing cut off or added.
960x640 and 800x533 are both the same size ratio.
That ratio may be the same, but the resolution is not. I'd prefer to have the highest res (640x960) on my phone versus an image that fits.
EDIT* Try using each of these as wallpapers. One will look a lot better than the other. While the 320 version fits, the 640 looks much better. Same principal applies here.

So instead of bickering about pixels, just take the full image and move it around and pinch and zoom until it's where you want it?
800 is 83% of 960. I can live with that.
Your example is 50% though, much different. No, I wouldn't live with that.

yeah yeah, I know, but I couldn't get the purple to play nice with the chrome effect I was going for.
800 pixels doesn't upscale as well, however. The OS has to fill in every fifth pixel. That means 20% of the image is just a guess. Curves become choppy and such.
When the image is just half the resolution, it just has to double every pixel.
