Thanks for the wallpapers. How are you guys getting the wallpapers on the phone? I don't want to have to create a folder and sync it with the iphone so I emailed a couple of these wallpapers to myself then saved them to the phone from the email, any other methods?

I sync the phone with folders. Since you'd rather not do that I guess you could browse the forum with your phone and save the pictures you like. Just touch and hold on a photo and it should ask if you want to save it. The pictures will go to your camera roll.

I am right there with you... I can't seem to find it anywhere, and have requested an upload of just the wallpaper with the darker bar... If I come across it, i'll upload it for all of us...

I either save the files to a folder and sync that folder via iTunes or I e-mail the file to myself.

Wow, I thought everyone knew you just browse this topic from the phone, open the image, and hold the image to save it to your camera roll.

That's why I've had so much fun trying out wallpapers because I can do it all quickly and easily from the phone.

That's not any faster than the other 2 methods I listed considering it's faster and easier to browse from a full PC.

I personally don't see the appeal in this version, but I always hate it when I look for something and it's been requested multiple times only to never see what I was looking for.

That and this took me like 2 seconds in Photoshop, so enjoy!

Yeah, I know there are some sophisticated tricky ways of getting solid screens, but that would have required quite a bit more effort than the 20 seconds that whole process took up.

I didn't notice you were on a new blank page with the apps wiggling. I looked quickly and thought you made your first page like that. At a glance it looked funny that the dock apps were tilted.

I didn't mean anything by what I said. As it turns out I was joking about something that wasn't even happening. Jokes on me...lol!

Sure! I downloaded the largest file size the website offered, in this case 1920x1200. Then I used Photoshop to crop the picture. If you have PS select the crop tool and enter the iPhone 4 resolution in the toolbar at the top of the screen. It's 640 px for width and 960 px for height. Make sure to type px (pixels) like I did in the last sentence. Otherwise it may default to inches, centimeters, or something else. Also, leave the resolution (box to the right) blank.

Then, starting from the top of the photo I just used the crop tool to select as much of the photo as it would let me within the dimensions given. You can move the crop selection around until you like the composition. To do that just click inside your selection and drag it around. If you don't have PS then Gimp is a good alternative. I don't use that one but I've heard good things.
