if you have a mac, plug in your phone into itunes and rename the folder through itunes. the command for the  symbol is press and hold option+shift and press the 'k' key. you can also open up the character viewer to choose from a bunch of other symbols.

if you don't have a mac and or you want to use the apple symbol (among other things), launch safari in your iphone and go to http://mrgan.com/gb/

the glyphboard allows you to copy and paste the symbols.

On your iPhone you can just copy and paste from here.

Great work everybody, some really awesome wallpapers! I'm not sure if its been posted before or not, but the following site has some really good wallpapers for iphone, as well as a dedicated section for iPhone 4: http://dailyiphoneblog.com/iphone-4-wallpapers/

Looks like some of the wallpapers have come from this forum, or vice versa, either way its good for everybody. Also seems like they add at least 3 new ones everyday.

This makes the black bar at the top of the phone invisible. Somebody made this in another thread in Photoshop so credit goes to them!!

Could you link me to that thread? Would love to know how to do that.

iEmoji won't do that. That's a jailbroken phone, so I imagine it's something enabled by a Cydia app.

iEmoji will IN FACT let you do that as I have pictures for all my folders and I am not / have never had my IP4 Jailbroken.

Here's some pretty simple and quiet ones I've made for my own use:

iEmoji does NOT have a black apple anywhere in it, it's a carbon copy of what the Japanese have as a keyboard option (I live in Japan and have a 'Japanese' iPhone). I know iEmoji can put symbols in the folders, as can the Japanese emoji keyboard.

And more...

incorrect. they are asking about the  (apple) symbol and emoji does not have those 'special' characters. also iEmoji, along with all the other paid emoji apps are in my opinion, RIPOFFS! i personally use 'awesome emoji' (there are other free enablers but i think awesome emoji was the most recent updated app when i searched after getting my phone)... install it, enable emoji, then uninstall the app. very simple.

This is an old 480x320 WP I used to have on my 3GS - I found the source (Aurora Reloaded @ Deviant Art) and redid it for the Retina Display:

A few more.

Can some edit the "M" fire letter from the wallpapers app and put the white over black effect on it
