For everyone else, my iPhone page shows all my artworks thus far. One word of caution is that unless you're on a Mac, the RSS subscription will not work. I apologize for that, but I use iWeb for website creation/maintenance (yeah, I know it's not that great, but I'm just a little lazy at the moment :D). I'll try to keep up with all future requests with respect to posting them on that page.

I think you should post up the image used as your background on your web page. I happen to think it would be great on the iPhone home screen. The lock screen should contain something additional on the same image as the home screen making a great combo. :) just thinking out loud.

This is a wallpaper thread not a whats on my background thread. Share please:)

Here is the shelf style one I knocked up for personal use, can fine tune if needs be but looks fine on the iPhone screen to me.

Here is the original image if you want to make your own.

Here's how I make them in Photoshop CS4:

Size the logo, 75% works best for most images.
Cut out the logo (I use magic wand, there's about 50 ways to do it)
Open the background image (can be found in this thread or make your own)
Use the arrow to drag the cutout onto the background image
Position the logo how you want it.
Select the layer with the logo on it, right click and choose Blending Options...
Where it says "Blend Mode", choose Overlay
Save as JPG.

To add to what Big John posted (vis a vis instructions), I have placed guides at the following points:

horizontally at 240px and 760px

If you size your image to fit between those guildelines, you'll avoid both the top and bottom bars displayed on the lock screen. As for the home screens, you can use as much as you want, but I normally stay within the same guidelines.

Here are some I worked up. I borrowed from some other pics posted here. I am going to work on lining up the bookshelf pic better a little later.

LAWL...... no offense but superimposing pre-made logos on to pre-made wood background is not exactly art

Never the less, your point is valid, if people dont like what they see, they should not be hear complaining.

I realize that simply cutting out a image and pasting it on top of a background is not "art", per se, but it's what happens after that point that makes it art. I'm specifically speaking of understand how to use the various filters, adjustments, etc... that Photoshop offers. Still, in your defense, you haven't seen my other artwork.

Here is the fixed version. BTW, I don't claim this to be art, i just made this up for myself and decided to share in case someone else might also enjoy it. If you don't like them don't download them.
