Wallpapers of Various

Thanks for the wallpapers.

I was hoping that you could do these for me, not sure how some will turn out, but hopefully they will look good. Please choose whichever wood effect you think will best suit the wallpapers.

P.S In the images is one more Rossi one. :)

Once again many thanks for all the wallpapers that you have done for me

Car's

Mr. Incognito,

Thanks again for the wallpapers.

Here are some car one's that I would like doing. If they don't look good then it doesn't matter at all.

Once again many thanks. :)

How about a Utah jazz one

Until Mr. Incognito returns... (this thread is so long, there may be a Utah Jazz wallpaper already made; didn't sift through it all to check.)

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while.
Here you go:

Nice, Mr. Incognito.

I seem to find that when I tried to blend the overlay too bright, it made some of the icon names harder to read. (Same even goes for general wallpaper that's too bright -- can't read a darn thing.)

An artistic flair, you've got. Kudos. :)

I decided to give this a go, here are my ones

Here is what you need to do to keep the image from looking like it is painted over the cracks (I'm assuming you are using Adobe Photoshop CS5):

1. Cut out the section of the image you want (henceforth called the "logo"), and drag and drop it onto the wood background. DO NOT use any fade tool or opaqueness on the logo.

2. Center the logo on the wood. (If the image is not big enough at this point, try to find a larger version online. if no larger version is blowing up the logo to fit on the wood should be a last resort move).

3. You should see that the wood is the "background layer" and the logo is a new layer "layer #" ontop of it. Make sure the upper layer (the logo layer) is selected and change that layers setting from "normal" to "overlay".

That's it... The image should look like it was painted onto the wood, and the cracks will be perfectly black with no traces of the logo.
The three reasons I use this method: It's effective, it looks great, and it is really fast!

Enjoy, and let me know if you have any problems.

To anyone who has submitted multiple images to be "woodified" and only a couple were actually made it is because I tried to make every image, but it looked like ****.

The best images to use are logos, cartoons, and anything else with very clean borders and no areas that require intense detail (like womens hair, ugh, that never works). Also, I've said this so many times, but I don't think people ever read the old posts so I'll say it again, search the web for the largest possible resolution of whatever it is you want. It will look much better. The absolute smallest it should be is 550x550. Anything smaller means I would have to blow it up substantially, which means pixelation. And no-one wants that for a wallpaper.
