iPhone 4G: Ugly?

I am not a big fan of the design myself and my 3GS really works well for me.
Something tells me the one going around is not the real one that will be released however if it s I plan on waiting until I can test it because there are only two factors that will make me upgrade.

1) speed has to be way faster
2) battery life has to be way better

it must also come in white I don't like the black one however other colors would be cool but I am shooting more function b4 I upgrade and really multi tasking is not as compelling to me as my other two points anyway.

I think it looks extremely sleek, like an ultra-modern re-design of the original iPhone. I have a 3GS and never really cared for the plastic 3G look. Every time I look at my 3GS now it just looks so old by comparison.

Maybe I'm crazy but I think the smooth/flat look is the way to go.

I still don't see how it looks anything like the iPad...

It's the silver sides, one thing I don't get is the iPad uses the same button style as the iPhone/iPod Touch, but yet the iPhone will have this new round style??

Unless it is for a camera app, which I guess is pretty good thinking, but we won't know for a few days.

The current volume rocker has them separate. If you remove the current volume rocker (sliver plastic peace) so you can see the circuit board you will see what I mean. Volume up and down NEEDS to be separate for oblivious reasons.

I think the phone is ugly also but never posted about it. Don't want to hurt to many ppl's feelings. I can take poop out of the toilet and stamp an Apple sticker on it and I swear ppl here would think it's awesome.

No one has actually tested the thing. The most detailed 'leak' we have concerning the back plate is that it 'doesn't feel like plastic'. We don't have chemical confirmation. I'd prefer not to make a leap like 'IT'S DEFINITELY POSITIVELY A ZIRCONIA CERAMIC PLATE' until I've heard more than 'this guy tapped on it with his finger and it didn't sound like plastic.'

I like the new look, and I'm happy that they removed the chrome around the sides of the iPhone.

I actually like the design. It looks more sturdy than the post iPhones, and I doubt I will have to baby it or go buy a case of it since it doesn't have the ultra sensitive back and chrome around the edges. I was hoping the back would be matte though, but it looks like it will be slick after all. The flatness is also a welcomed change. I hope it has a louder speaker and better vibrating motor in it so I can actually feel it go off in my pocket. That's still a problem I have with the current and past iPhones.

I actually really like the look of the new iPhone. It looks different than most of Apple's products but it still looks like something Apple would do.

The flat back seems nice. I don't use my own cellphone yet but it seems like a flat phone would feel more comfortable in your pocket.

i dont mind the flat back, actually when i first saw it i didnt liked it but now i do.. and when i look at my 3G and it looks old! lol

the black seams on the sides... i dont see apple doing that... and i just hope those dont make it to the released product
