The general rule of thumb for me is to never buy the first version of her product because it's still going to be a beta test. Never get the all new model of the car l, get one that is in a second or third year of being that model before they retool all the bugs will be worked out. I assumed that the four ass would be more of a refinement of the four instead of having all the teething problems of the new model. I did not take into account that iOS five would also have new model teething problems instead of being more for refine

Does the restore replace the apps in their proper spots? I've seen it screw up on the ipod, just throw them around willy-nilly and you're stuck dragging everything back where you had them the last time

I now have an answer to this question. Everything will be restored back to the way it was at the time the backup was done. I was having an issue with my iPad which required me to erase all contents on the iPad. When I got my new replacement, I first installed iOS 5 and then did a restore from backup. I was very relieved that I did not have to create folders again and drag some 129 apps to their appropriate folders. Apple really thought the restore out very carefully and did a great job implementing it.
