I highly doubt this, but could these yellow blobs be related to my battery getting bad? A diagnostic run by an AppleCare advisor said the battery failed, and that maybe the yellow spots were related to the battery needing replacement. Do you think the old battery could be causing the yellow spots? I have noticed that they decrease and increase randomly. Sometimes they are really noticeable and sometime they are hardly noticeable.

Ok so I have been thinking about my repair options and I think I have decided to just wait till my birthday in December to get a good refurb iPhone 5 or maybe even a 5c, as the release of the 6 should reduce the prices of those models considerably. I was gonna get the iWatch but I'm not sure if it will even be a watch; it could be just a fitness wearable. And availability will probably be past my bday. Even if it is a watch, I'm still not sure if I even want it, so I have decided to just get the used/refurbished iPhone 5 or 5c. Do you guys think this is a better option then spending a lot on repairs? Isn't it a better idea to save the money and use it on a 5?
