I figured this may get lost in the other thread but I've made a new image to test your screen with. Turn brightness all the way up and open the attached photo. No need to save/set as wallpaper etc anymore.

I encourage anyone that doesn't see this problem in normal use to not let it bother you if your screen flickers while viewing this image. This is only to confirm your suspicions about the scan lines if you can already see them and they're causing distress.

Every iPhone Ive had flickers with this image, but I never see flickers or lines without this image. I guess my eyes are bad or something, im glad I do not see it though.

Can only see the odd minor flicker when changing my focus point on the image .

I think it's more of an optical illusion as if I close one eye it doesn't do it

I see a lot of topics here about these vertical scan lines/interlacing.

but all people just comment like "yeah, I do have ones" or "no, don't see anything"
maybe a little bit more success stories about replacing their phones?

I have 5s sn starts with F2, image flickers and I also see these stupid lines, when I use the phone. they do not appear all the time, but I still see them quite often - in videos, in camera, on my home screen icons, practically everywhere. It bothers me the most in the apps, that have a ios6 keyboard, the grey one. oh it is so stripy.

My problem is, that I have no Apple Store in my country, only resellers. and these resellers are not so happy to replace apple goods. They see no problem in dead pixels and I can't imagine, how I am going to explain the flickering screen. They just won't see it, I guess...
And my second worry is, that I will get a new phone with much more horrible lines and in this case they will not replace it for the second time

Mine flickers on this image........my solution is to not look at this image :)

Being serious though, I don't notice a flicker on other stuff only images of this kind and shade.

Haha :)

The thing I've learnt about all these apple faults (I have a dodgy iPad Air screen) is that they are completely random and it's a lottery!

No flicker on my previous C3 iPhone 5 or my girlfriend's C3 iPhone 5 but it flickers on my replacement C7 iPhone 5.

This image is the only time I've ever seen flicker or lines, though. Nothing noticeable during normal viewing.

Guys got no interlacing but yellow tint screen. got a c39
what should i do? i am in the 14 day period.

except from the yellow screen and loose buttons i got no problems.

If the photo that your looking at has high enough resolution your less likely to see any screen interlacing
