Sorry. I meant to say that at lest the iPhone 5 will have the latest OSes WHEN THEY ARE RELEASED
Well thank you for stating the obvious

Jelly bean wasn't out when the Galaxy S3 was released so it had the latest OS = ICS....... NEXT.
*slow clap*
wow, how lame already!
How about the following:
white balance control
image quality control (fine, ultra fine, etc)
video quality control (size controls as well)
frames per second mode (24p/30p/60p)
ability to crop image before shooting (image sizes)
shutter timer (2s,5s,10s,30s,custom)
If you tout the iphone as the best mobile camera on the planet, how about some real controls that actually help? It's been what, 5 years, and we just have these pathetic meager controls on the iphone camera, it's quite sad to include just a panorama mode. Even the ipad 3 doesn't have an HDR when the camera itself is legit like the iPhone4
I truly hope that ipad mini isn't 1024x768 - but it's just pathetic.

I used this briefly when I had my iPhone jailbroken, before updating a few months back. Nice feature the first few times you use it, but beyond that it, wasn't much use to me, personally.
And I'm sure this is a footnote and not a key feature tomorrow. After all, it was in iOS 5 anyway.
25 more hours...
So another thing "borrowed" from Android?
That's good. Nice features should be promoted and used. Something that fans from both sides will hopefully learn.
Although I will laugh if it is a "iPhone 5 only" feature![]()

Image and Video quality especially I think should be options. Sure leave it on the best MP and highest video res by default but let people with 16gb 4S's change it so that a 5 minute video doesn't use up 700mbs of their storage lol.
There are multiple things in your post that... how to put it politely... are "far from the truth".The Google Nexus 7 was announced in late June with a release date in the middle of July. Runs Jelly Bean.
The Galaxy S3 had a release date set for between July 12-17. Runs ICS.
Both were available for pre-order at the same time and very similar release timetables. If the SG3 was out before the N7, it was a matter of days. Plus the GS3 is supposedly not getting Jelly Bean until October....
You have to face the fact that Android is fragmented and only about 1% of devices run the latest software with your beloved Project Butter.
Makes you look rather asinine for your post huh?

Nobody stole from anyone. That's what I mean. There have been panorama apps in the app store for god knows how long. Android AND iOS stole this feature. Stop the fighting.

Galaxy S3 was released in May.
Jelly Bean was released in July. N7 was released in July.
So your theory is a bit flawed.
I agree with some improved stock camera controls, though a few of those I got by simply getting a better 3rd party camera app (Camera+). The problem with 3rd party apps is the lack of integration.
