Today I turned on the Visual Impaired feature. It was like a whole new device. This had me doing more gestures with the thumb and 3-finger swipes. So cool !

other gadgets would be an iPod touch and iPad. ;)

How did you set up this feature? I went to settings -> general -> accessibility but couldn't find how you set this up.

please explain the negatives of the iphone. i can't imagine how society has gone backwards due to its existence.

It's a terrible distraction for some, cost, it turns communication into a "shortcut" rather than real interaction with human beings, perpetual upgrades, is itself a highly coveted item and a focus of obsession for many, etc. The same can be said of any modern smartphone, however.

Settings - General - Accessibility - VoiceOver - On

if you are familiar with PC software for the blind (JAWS) well and on the Mac, ... you know how you navigate through links on a webpage by using the Tab or space bar. (right) Well on the iPhone you flick your thumb upwards/downwards to navigate through each app on the home screens. Then tap your thumb/finger anywhere on the screen twice to open the app.

After playing with it, I looked at the Android to see how blind people navigate on their phones. It looked like more navigating. They had a few gestures but it didn't incorporate some of the braille like gestures that the iPhone uses.

I'd say the best gadget would be the laptop. It can do way more, it's more powerful, connects to more things, all around just a better device.
