Hey guys, I need a little help. I've been a steadfast Otterbox user for my current iPhone, but as most of you know, they are large, bulky, and cumbersome. I'm looking for something that will give my new iPhone a similar amount of protection while letting the beauty of the phone be visible. I was considering a clear silicone case or something, but that doesn't give a lot of protection. Thoughts? And for the record... I'm a vet student and a technician in the large animal ICU at the hospital, so I need something that would probably withstand a horse stepping on it... Thanks! :)

You may want to wait for lifeproof to make a case.

power support seems to be slow most of the times ... but i think their screen protectors the best !

Yep. Couldn't agree more!

But I certainly do hate the long wait time. They told 3-4 weeks after launch.

I want some protector "strips" that just cover the glass on back, leaving the aluminum bare, and one for the glass up front. Sigh, I doubt any company will make something like this.

I thought about this too. Bodyguardz is shipping (my order says shipped) the ultra clear skin. I'm tempted to try cutting to size to do just that. I don't like setting the phone down for the whole surface of it to get scratched. I'd rather have just some little buttons that it sits on to keep the bare surfaces off whatever I set it on.. I think you could modify the Bodyguardz to do just that. And if you register for their "Advantage", you get 2 complete skin sets for $19.

I wanted screen protectors and ordered a couple Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic protectors and the package showed up in 2 days. Only problem is they shipped their Glas.t model. Not a huge problem since I wanted to try it out. They will be shipping the replacements out this week. Other than them I haven't seen much out there.

You got a great deal then. :D

Just ordered this from Amazon

Hopefully it works out pretty good.

Anyone ordering any screen protectors in the UK? I've seen quite a few references to products I'm not sure that you get here.

Just ordered the CaseCrown Lux Glider. Used code SPC30OFF for 30% off for a total of $13.26 - not a bad deal I say.
Thanks for the heads up. :)
I was initially going to go order directly from CaseCrown too, but opted instead to order my Case Crown Lux Glider for iPhone5 on Amazon.com for $10.21. Shipping is $4.99. My Amazon order shows delivery date as: 9/20-25. Seems like a good deal whichever vendor route you decide.

Heh, I ordered 2 full sets From best skins ever. I'm gonna try to cut one set down and hopefully it ends up working. If not at least ill have the other set if I need it.

I've had a back protector on my i4 for its entire life. No scratches on the camera lens like every other bare i4 and no scratches on the original back glass either. Pretty happy that the tiny bit of thickness the protector is the camera lens is elevated just enough to never get scratched. I'm hoping it'll work the same in keeping the bare aluminum scratch free

Anyone know of a leather/pleather case that flips up. I found some wallet type folios that open to the left, but my father is picky and wants one that flips up over the phone.

Thanks!
