My point just because there is information listed regards an iPhone 4S doesn't preclude the existence and launch of an iPhone 5. You're assuming that only a 4S is going to be launched. That may well be but no one including you know that outside of Apple if it is true. You're just making an assumption.

As for Apple using The Loop and AllThingsD to spread news (Oct 4th announcement taking place at Apple Campus) and lower hype in the past (WWDC, Sept. 7th), I'd definitely agree. That's why I am curious about John Gruber's post on the subject. He prefaces it by saying he doesn't know, but I don't know if I believe him. He very well may be trying to lower the hype level, but I can't say for sure.
No, I am speculating that only an iPhone 4s is coming out. The assumption I made was that this is NOT an intentional leak (evidenced by the immediate pull of the beta once it was noticed). I then speculated that only the 4S is going to be released because (ASSUMING it was not leaked intentionally and this code was meant to be released after the 4th) it would make no sense for them to only include code for just the 4S if there were in fact two new iPhones coming out.
Also, everyone on this website is just guessing. I never claimed that I was doing anything beyond that. The only thing that we can now confirm is that there IS and iPhone 4S coming out.
Fair enough but that doesn't mean there isn't also an iPhone 5 coming out. All we can do is speculate. We won't know for sure until Apple's keynote.

Yes, this is what an actual label looks like. I just checked my iPhone 4 box. In fact, the reason they probably blacked out everything is that they took a picture of the iPhone 4 label and changed the 4 to a 5.
I'd have to assume that is a Canadian label because we have to have both English and French on our product boxes.

The second leak by Randy K. of the iPhone 4S must be a fake. I did not see anything about that device on the website even during the many refreshes I did when the story aired.
Furthermore, I was not able to click the "+View details" button. It directed me to a 404 page.

As I said before, I am also holding out hope, and no one will know until the 4th. But, sources more reliable than me are saying what we are all hoping won't happen
Doesn't even have to be 'shopped'. With Chrome you can in-line edit right on the page.

I just see it as a difference in opinions. You have your opinion, I have mine. To me, my opinion sounds more logical, but I guess you will say that's because I'm narcissistic, eh?
they also woulda had to pull the 64 from somewhere to place it as we don't have a 64 gb iPhone as of now

Agh. Photoshop has seriously been both a boon and a menace to society. It seriously makes me doubt all the pictures I see online.
I also think that it is because of Photoshop that we didn't see any "leaked" pictures of iPhone 5. Why would a Chinese worker or blogger risk being thrown in a Chinese jail over a picture of an iPhone 5 that many won't believe anyway?
