Still like my iGlobe with duel connectors.

Again, by making your own, you can adjust the cable to fit without adapter. I saved my iGlobe because I have iPad 3, or I would have dumped it. Then I would have been in the same boat without a dock. I originally tried iGlobe with adapter but didn't like it. My next thought was to drill a hile in computer desk and insert lightening cable. Didn't like that either and opted for adding cable to iGlobe.

I got the Pro Dock... Black. Simple. Effective...
It's great! Looks and feels solid and it charges 100%!
Unlike the rip off Belkin dock which uses the Apple cable, this one has a built in lightning connector. The iPhone can be taken off the dock with one hand with a little effort. As you probably know now, the lightning connector is a lot tighter than the 30-pin, making it harder to remove the phone. That is not iphone5mod's problem. It's the way the connector is.
Still, a great product. These guys are great and are doing what Apple is afraid to do. Check out their new lighting to SD and USB adapter for iPad and iPad Mini! I already own the previous version of 30-pin to CF Adapter for iPad and it always worked great! I am ordering a second dock and the SD adapter now! :)

I'm thinking about purchasing this one. Did you get the lightning cable one or micro USB one? Also can you undock it with 1 hand?

I also saw that you guys were saying that iphone5mod purchases from eBay and ships them put? Does anyone have the links to the prodock? I saw this http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=251175309726
Not sure if its the same exact or not. Can anyone confirm?

So I basically couldn't take it anymore, so I ordered this one from Amaozn:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ADDM6HE/

It serves it's purpose of being an iPhone holder next to my computer. It's not that heavy, so 2 hands are necessary to get the iPhone out of the "Dock".

I'm thinking I might get this too...was considering sinjimoru for my 4S before.

I had the 4S one and returned, because I couldn't use the phone, whenever you try to touch the screen, it would fall to the back.

Maybe this version is better? Please try it and let us know, big thanks!

I haven't have the previous version, so I can't compare between the two. However, the description states that the "new version" of this dock is 40% heavier than the previous one, plus I guess the fact that the iPhone itself is 20% lighter has a greater effect on the typing experience on this dock. Overall, I haven't had any problem with typing.

That's good to hear. However there is one 2 star review for the white model and the reviewer says it doesn't work with his case because the lightning cable doesn't go all the way. This isn't an issue with my iphone because I use an ultra thin case from SGP which tapers and ends at the corners of the phone and leaves the bottom bare. However, do you know or think there would be room for the backside of the iPhone if it has a case on?

I have Desmay's case (0.3mm) on my iPhone and it works great.

Awesome. Thanks for that!

Ordering. :)

I think this Dock would only work for cases that are open on the bottom of the iPhone. The reviewer on the white version has a case that covers all the bottom outputs of his iPhone. So yes, I think that any iphone that has this kind of a case would not be able to charge his or her iPhone with this dock.

Yea I'll be ok with that since my case doesn't cover over the bottom at all. But if it did, I would have to look elsewhere. But I like the look and style as well, so I think should be perfect in my case.

This also seems to be a little cheaper than many other docks out there.

I've also found a Chinese knock-off on eBay, but am leery to go this route because I haven't heard any reviews. Has anyone used one of these?

I took the liberty of contacting a few of the buyers of this kind of dock. Here are the responses I got:

- "I had the same questions you did when I bought it. Honestly, I like it a lot, but it is not "high quality" compared to an apple original dock. I had an Apple dock with audio out for my iphone 4 and I was hoping this one was similar in style. This iphone 5 dock charges my phone and connects to my speakers well. So it does what it is suppose to. The sound is clear and loud. Unfortunately, I do not like that it is very light weight. I have to use two hands to pull out my iphone, one hand holding the dock down. I am thinking about using double sided tape to tape it down to my desk. Also, the lighting plug & 3.5mm audio plug are tight. It is not easy to dock the iphone like it was with my iphone 4 dock. I have to make sure my iphone 5 is lined up before I push it down. I do not think it will damage the iphone, but it is something to think about."
- "It's great. Exactly what I wanted! And sticks to apples usual clean style."
- "The item is good and fits well..."

I think I may get this. Based on a lot of comments here though, I'm starting to think the best thing for minimal charging docks where two hands are required is an eject button like the Dell laptop docks have. It's a simple mechanism and if built properly I think would work quite well. Too bad I don't have the wherewithal to craft it myself.

Thank you so much~ it will be here tomorrow!!!!

Too bad, I have it shipped to office...

EDIT: Dec 18th.

So this work GREAT with Elago Outfit case! It is heavier than the old generation, I could use the phone and the dock can stay still!!!!

I have placed another order for my wife to use it at home!

Finally, no more iPhone 5 dock searching! Most importantly, $25 is a reasonable price(from amazon with free shipping, no tax!) and I can use the lightning cable from Apple!

Will post some pictures soon.

EDIT: Dec 20th

Here are the photos.
