Post it in the "black phone scuff thread" or the "How can I tell if my phone is bent?" thread. Say it was out of the box that way. It would be hilarious.

Seriously sorry about your bad luck.

Only thing I've ever read in these forums that actually made me laugh out loud. Please do it OP, that would really be funny

Better Idea on how to get a replacement

Quite simply, you were in Hurricane Sandy. You are a first responder, and it got crushed between the boat and the house of the person you were rescuing in the storm surge. Ship it back, with a NY or NJ return shipping address.

DONE:eek:

mine is tucked away under the bench while I work out. always scared of dropping weights on it.

That's the reason I never take my iphone to the gym.
And also that I dont like distractions.
This is what I use below. Small, light, clips anywhere and I dont care if it breaks since its cheap.

Ouch.. jesus man D: That's insane. Dropped my old iPhone 4 at the gym once while on the treadmill and got scared ********.. doesn't compare to a weight though D:

If your still in our 30 days.. You can call Apple to buy AppleCare + on it.. Then once that's bought go to Apple store and pay the 50 bucks to get it replaced..

Because committing fraud is an easy and acceptable resolution to this or any problem!

Was in my pocket but the headphones caught on the dumbells when doing incline chest press... Then fell out... The weight dropped on iPhone... Never good...

Even when going to failure, for an incline DB bench press, it should be possible to bring the weights to your lap.

I watched in horror the other day as a guy was doing flat DB bench press, and started tapping his feet near the end, and his iPhone started slowly working its way out of his pocket and looked just about to fall, when he finished and caught it.

I don't listen to my own music at the gym, just because earphone cords are such a pain in the ass. Maybe there are bluetooth ones on the market?

Fear not. I'm not one of these "Drop the weights as loud as i can." It was more of ...I pushed out another rep... then lowered the weights down to either side of me.

Tapping his feet? Form should be such you engage your core... Doing it all wrong!

I might get one of these, I work in retail and have my iphone 5 in my pocket all day as I like to listen to music as I am doing work in the stockroom, but I am always worried I am going to drop my phone or it will fall out of my pocket.

The only thing I can say after seeing those pictures is oh wow. I feel for you OP.

I generally don't take my iPhone into the gym as I'm wicked paranoid it will fall or get damaged.

If I'm not running outside, I'm on a treadmill or elliptical. I've had enough iPods, fall from them accidentally to know that I'm risking major damage to my phone if I take it in there.

Good luck with getting it replaced - I feel for ya :(
