I've looked into the grey markets. The prices are ridiculous. A 16gb currently costs over $9000 which is around 750GBP.
The only other option is to go to broadway or fortess (similar to currys/comet in the uk) and buying from them. Only issue is they make u buy a pre selected item first such as a $1000 bluetooth headset
Should be +HK$1000 per rung up the ladder. Based on what my friends back in hk are saying they're about 8.8k for 16, 9.8 for 32 and 10.8 for 64 right now.
Didnt check the other capacities but expect around 40-45% markup over RRP (if u mean grey market). Otherwise as mentioned by themacbookpro +$1000HKD

I don't like them that much. I always wait for the computer festival at the convention center to buy computers the one that's normally held in September.nope. I have reserved again in the hope of being able to buy one tomorrow but chances are more or less 0%. I haven't actually known anyone (friends/family) who has managed to get a phone using this system. They had the same system for the iphone 4s and again, wasnt able to get hold of one.
Truly sucks to be an apple fanboy living in hong kong lol
To beat the scalpers..... sucks for us because there is no way for us who genuinely wants to buy the phone to use to be 100% sure of getting one.

I'm sure I will manage to get one. Just have to wait a few months or pay over the odds for one LOL
