I am so *$&^ing sick of Apple and their useless notifications, e.g. "Manage Storage" Really Apple? Just "manage" them. Okay, ya got me... how?

I have deleted ever app I don't need (or really want).
I deleted a ton of pics.
Here's my storage situation. Clearly there's a lot of (uselessly hi-res) pics on the phone. Is there a way to off load them into iPhoto and NOT have them sync back every time?

Thanks for ANY suggestions

I'd get rid of Messages and LinkedIn. Why do people save text messages? I delete mine at the end of the day.

Its the consumers fault for buying it!! There are many choices that customers have.
Pardon me for wanting Apple to make their phone better. There is no questioning that iphone would be better with a MicroSD expansion. I don't get why people make excuses for Apple. The company does not care about you. What's wrong with pressuring companies to change their product for the better?

128gb is more than enough! I have a 64gb and it's less than half full. If you use it the right way a 16gb would be useable. I think Apple should have gone 32gb instead, but they ain't forcing anyone to buy the smallest size and then whine about it on the forums.

I'm not making any excuses, but MicroSD is not a better solution if price is not a factor. Even google is restricting the use of Micro SD cards.

The only way to pressure a company is to not buy their products. No more iPhones for me until the can sell one for $400 that has as much value as a similar android phone. As long as people are lining up to buy less for more things will not change.

I sympathize with the OP. The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact has 16GB of onboard memory and 128GB microSD slot. That is clearly the right thing to do but it seems companies only do the "right thing" when they're breaking into the market (Sony) or just trying to survive (Nokia). I think Sony's solution is ideal - keep the OS and related content onboard and allow users to expand music/pics/apps onto the SD card. These are the types of changes I was waiting for in the iPhone 6. Instead, someone made the executive decision to make a bigger phone.

Unless you use it often, delete iMovie. It's taking up the best part of a Gb and you can re-download it from iCloud when you want it.

Are they buying it ? The problem I see is places have the 6 avalible, but only in 16 GB. If Apple made less of the 16 and more of the 64...

But yes, I wish 32 or ideally 64 was the starting point. Only two models in each size would be even better. 64 & 128.

I can live without having to manage SD cards.

Plug your phone into your Mac and open up iPhoto. Your iPhone should appear in the left hand menu, click import all and it will then give you an option to delete the pictures from the phone once they are imported. Then open up iTunes on your Mac, still with the phone connected, and then when you are on the device page of iTunes click the photos tab and make sure sync photos is not selected. Job done

Just buy an android device. You can expand its memory and is a generally more intuitive OS

Reading all of your posts like that you seem to get quite a lot of cash for praising the Galaxy Note 4... You say "it has the best screen ever" and "it's better than iPhone" but WHY do you say that ... Completely without sources

Please tell your employers they need to do more training for astroturfers like you.

iCloud Question

Is it possible to just subscribe to a paid iCloud subscription to artificially expand your phone's storage that way?

Say I have a 16GB iPhone and it's out of space... Would I be able to pay .99 cents a month for the 20GB iCloud plan and have the storage increased to 20GB?
