iPhone 5 Launches in 22 Countries and a Number of Rural Carriers Friday

Stop crying usa boys , u get the iphones half price than we get them so .. It worth the waiting..

I ll stay till 00:00 here in holland to see if the ll let me order but if its like 4 week waiting then i wont order now..

given the fact, your phones are discounted and apple dont make us much from them, then those of us paying outright.

and they dont take your money till its shipped, so really you havent paid have you?
 
this is gonna be an interesting night.

gonna try 00:15 (who knows, maybe it's a midnight release)
04:00 (maybe they'll start sales similarly to the NZ store)
06:00 (when i get up to leave for work)
09:00 (when german online stores went live ... probably the worst timing for me since i myself and anyone i know is gonna be busy at this exact time)


... thank god i only do this once every 2 years ;)

Ordered on announcement day, it CONSTANTLY gets delayed. Initially by October 2nd, now pushed to the 15th.

It will be the exact same for the other 22 countries ordering online.

We will have the 3-4 week wait as well. Get over it.

Irrelevant display of "patriotism". Apple was established in the US and that's all one can say nowadays. Its biggest markets and revenues are outside the US, the staff is international, and pretty much every Apple device is also produced outside that country.

If you want to make money, sell it outside the US; that's where money is.
 
Wouldn't it be a good idea to give everyone who ordered one in the first lot of countries one first :confused: I will be so pissed if a load of people from these countries get theirs before I get mine which I ordered ON THE ****ING FOURTEENTH!!! :mad:

EDIT: I should note a few things:

I'm in the UK
I'm buying the phone outright
I have nothing against the other countries, and if they had gone live at the same time I wouldn't mind them recieving their phones before or at a similar time to me, but the fact is I ordered nearly 2 weeks ago and haven't received my phone yet.

we're not taking your phones. we're taking phones that had always been meant for us.

you know what would be even more irritating? if Apple were to hold off from releasing the phone in a new market until every previous market had been sufficiently saturated ... now that'd be a sucky rollout.

as it stands, every market will have this one first batch that's on time, after which they'll have to wait for 3-4 weeks aswell.

Ah I know, I'm just frustrated that's all :( I apologise for my outburst, I just want my iPhone!

It's made even more painful by my crappy android that requires a factory reset every couple of days to continue to work! :(
 
So anyone seeing it available for order in the European Apple websites yet? Not showing up here in Sweden. After midnight now.
 
In all the countries with launch today which have an online Apple Store :) I am not making fun of you, wait and see :)
 
Well, if it was midnight for example in Ireland, it should be 1AM in Czech Republic/Poland etc... if I'm correct... So that could be the explanation...
