Price does not matter when you love the thing.
Just ordered the most expensive iPhone on earth :) , and that is probably in Denmark.

Costs 950 EUR for the 64gb version in Hungary. I think that's the most expensive (official) price. People here in Russia were paying up to 90,000 RUB (2,247 EUR) to get the phone on September 21....

Because a commonly accepted definition of responsibility is to complete one commitment before taking on another? Because the people that have ordered, and have ALREADY PAID have fair expectation of having a product in hand before someone who hasn't?

Is that enough or do you need more?

**** happens.

Can't wait to get mine.

Its ridiculous!!! Tried to buy the Iphone 5 at 7:30AM on the Portugal Store and delivery time was 3-4 weeks. This shows that there was no stock for Europe probably. :-/

Got 2 iphones 32 gb white in media markt in switzerland..its a big shop and they only had like 15 on stock and 25 people waiting for one
Payed fair prices..1600 swiss francs thats about 1200 euros

I ordered a black 32 GB iPhone 5 for my girfriend a couple hours ago, and they were already saying that shipping was estimate in 3-4 weeks. I'm in Spain. Here they cost 679, 779, and 879 euros for 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB versions.
I ordered through the apple webpage. The Apple Store app on my 4S showed the iPhone 5 yesterday night at last, but ordering wasn't enabled.

Why should every US order be completed before it's rolled out to the other countries?

Yeah, sounds like a case of "look after me first, dammit!"

What i don't understand is the 50 euros price difference (after removing taxes) comparing to the US phones prices.

It's the same thing with laptops ... Always an additional 100 euros ...

I don't get this ... All stuff comes from china anyway, so it's not a transportation added price ...

Do you pay any additional anti-piracy taxes in Portugal like they do in France? All digital storage devices have an extra charge levied on them in France. I think Canada has something similar. I know the PS in Portugal was drafting such a law last year.
That sort of thing makes price comparisons across Europe a little more difficult.

Ordered mine early this morning (06:16) was still at 3-4 weeks shipping. Hopefully 3-4 weeks is a maximum and not a minimum.

Before any of you blabbers blab about not getting their wonderful new iPhone 5 before the ones that order theirs in the new 22 countries it has been released...... yes I'm from one of the new 22 countires, the expected delivery time is 3-4 weeks. So stop blabbing about it. I will not get mine sooner.... oh wait, I won't get mine at all, I didn't order it :p

NLD: 3-4 weeks delivery, EUR20-40 cheaper than GER

Dutch Apple Store updated overnight and pricing EUR20-40 (i.e. top model EUR 859 in NLD vs EUR 899 in GER) lower than neighboring Germany eventhough VAT is equal today (19%) and as of Monday 1/10 is higher (21%) in NLD.

Delivery delay 3-4 weeks, like elsewere. However, I ordered mine yesterday through Vodafone and am expecting delivery on Monday 1/10.

Why the hell are they launching iPhone 5 in some silly little countries when there's not availability in the US? They should meet demand in the most important nations of the world first, and then, and only then, should Apple consider launching iPhone 5 elsewhere.

Damn.. How retarded is that? You really think America is the most important nation in the world? Europe is a really important continent to.. I think that's really narrow minded of you to say such thing, and only enforces the stereotype of what we think of you americans..
And by the way, in Belgium Apple nearly didn't deliver any stocks, all shops in the capital don't have any because of Apple lacking support atm.

I see the nz store already is showing 3-4 weeks. Is this the same for all online stores around the world? Will there be stock for 1-2 day delivery in poland does anyone know?

NL store also show 3-4weeks and, yes there will be stock in 1-2days delivery after iPhone is on market for 5-6month

My order updated from 3-4 weeks to 4-5 weeks with delivery estimated 26 oct-2 nov.

I ordered the phone first thing at 1am.

So a big **** YOU!! To all the yanks that have hogged the initial stock.

This "launch" here in Slovenia was the BIGGEST JOKE EVER.

I stood in line for 6 hours only to find out they ONLY had 21 PHONES.

21 PHONES.

Irrelevant display of "patriotism". Apple was established in the US and that's all one can say nowadays. Its biggest markets and revenues are outside the US, the staff is international, and pretty much every Apple device is also produced outside that country.

If you want to make money, sell it outside the US; that's where money is.
Amen to that

Janez i don't belive that you guys are doing this waiting crap in Slovenia :)

ccc... ;)

You should ignore the noisy minority. Most Americans do not think like that. I too am waiting for an iPhone, here in the US. It will be another 2 months before Apple provides unlocked phones for those of us (e.g., T-mobile) who are not Apple partner wireless providers such as AT&T and Verizon. Apple is doing the right thing by launching the product globally and trying to be as equitable as possible in supplying in proportion to the market size of each country. Apple stock is in any case is listed world wide not just in America, just as one can be shareholder of European corporations like Unilever etc here in the US.

Got it. Love it. Never seen such a precise manufactured peace of hightech. A white one this time (64 GB). My third one (3G, 4, 5). Perfect condition, no scratches.

I pre-ordered a week ago in a T-Mobile shop (I changed the provider) here in Vienna (Lugnercity—a rather huge shopping center). Today they phoned me up: "Your iPhone is ready." I went there and bought it with a 2-y-contract. Didn't even have to wait. They got 16 iPhones 5 today for this shop the salesman told me.

Now I need a bumper case.
