The other day my phone was kept next to my father's 5S... Both facing down... I wouldn't say its not premium... But, just looks kinda bald next to the 5S... Funny thought yes... But, that's the only thought that came to my mind... :p

From the ugly antenna lines, to the camera protruding, to the overall plastic-y feel of the device, the iPhone 6 simply does not look like a premium product. Compare it to the iPhone 5/5S and it is night and day. The glossy edges, and the plastic bands are barely noticeable yet still complement the design.

The only thing I like about the iPhone 6 design is how the screen curves on the edges.

Not sure how it feels plastic-y when it's all aluminium and glass. I think it's too slippery though.

On the other hand I always thought that the 5 felt cheap compared to the 4. The 4 was beautiful. I love the weight of the 4 because it actually feels solid in your hand.

And that's where I stopped reading. It's a friggin phone, not a $30,000 watch. The fact that Apple has convinced people that the phones and tablets they sell are "premium" is a testament to Apples marketing strategy.

For the record, I'm an iPhone and iPad owner. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I think the products are "premium".

That's what a case is for to cover up the c-section lines on the back.

The thick antenna bands might be bit of an eyesore but they're necessary evil. Otherwise, we'd have another Antenna/NFCgate.

The front of the 6/6+ is the best looking design to date though.

Apple products have always been considered premium compared to other company's products.

The materials used an the superior build quality contribute to part of the reason of why I continue to buy Apple products.

Amazes me how someone can have a choice as to buy a device or not buy a device...then they choose to buy it, only to post a thread to vent about it. I know it's been said a million times...but, if you don't like it don't buy it. If you have already bought it, and don't like it...take it back and get something you do like.

It's all about personal preference isn't it You can't please everyone.

For me personally I've never seen a phone I loved the design of more than the 4/4s. I know the five is similar but the elongation takes away some of its beauty IMHO.

I also think the 6 is a lovely phone. Nothing plastic about it.

I only wish Apple would have made the iPhone space gray like the original black iPhone 5. Although, my 5 showed a lot of scratches, so I see why they went with the MBP color.

A black iPhone 6 with black bands would have been amazing.

Thanks, I will put your opinion next to the **** no one cares about.

I think they both look great. The only downside to the 6/6+ is the protruding camera, and the antenna lines. That said, I don't think those things make the 6/6+ look less "premium."
