I think you shouldn't be buying anymore Apple's product because they ''false advertise'' and they are secretly recording everything you say.

1. They do falsely advertise by 20%.. it's not 1000 vs 1024, I already calculated for that.

2. All phone manufacturers do that, by law. I'm asking if anyone knows how to disable it on iOS.

Flash is dead for mobile in future....future is HTML5...id suggest an early implementation so that they can work the bugs out early.

Why do you want a 12 megapixel camera in a phone? Totally unnecessary.

I don't necessarily agree. I love having a quality camera in my phone so I don't have to carry a phone and a point and shoot camera (I have a DSLR but it's too big to carry all the time.)

That being said, I know megapixels don't equal good pictures. I would love some sort of optical zoom and better sensors. That would mean a thicker phone design (specifically for the zoom) but I could live with that.

Flash isn't needed on iDevices because in most cases there are better alternatives that are more native to a mobile environment:

*Games from the app store are much better on iOS than online flash games.

*The iOS YouTube app would be a better option than trying to use the desktop flash version.

*Sites like BBC or Animal Plant etc etc that have flash videos on their site also have an iOS app that is designed for iOS.

Optical zoom would be much more desirable, although I'm not sure how they'd incorporate it without compromising on the design/aesthetics. But yeah, this obsession with megapixels is getting ridiculous. I'd be very surprised if anyone shooting with an iPhone would be printing anything at any kind of size that would make 12 megapixels necessary. Better and larger sensors would be a much better idea than trying to continually cram in more pixels in order to try and keep up with what everyone else is doing.

I'd love to see the light up Apple logo idea to appear on the next iPhone. Just as long as it was tastefully done and not tacky. But who am I kidding, it's Apple lol :p

Yeh that goes for all phones as well, GS2 and 4S take excellent pics.. for a phone. But you can easily tell a difference between them and a normal even cheap digi cam. The phones are being held back by the lens' used and sensors, if they upgrade those two things, pics would be awesome and almost indifferent to a normal digi cam even if they stayed at 8MP (provided you don't blow your pics up to massive sizes lol)

Yup. That will kill even more battery life :(

We have LEDs that draw an insanely small amount of power. It doesn't have to be a bright light to get noticed. The drain on battery could be very negligible. Even less if we are given the option to turn it off. I honestly think this would be really cool. I would likely only opt to have it on while on the phone. Outside of that it would go largely unnoticed based on how I (and many others) hold my phone.

Could just redesign the already existing mod which just uses the screens light. They could implement SOMETHING designed by them to do it along those lines I'm sure. It's a long shot. But hey...

I think this would only be popular with young people such as teenagers ... I remember aftermarket lit up antennas ... adults never bought into the idea

Antennas used to light up? I missed this? All I remember is that Nokia 9800 or something that played polyphonic ringtones and had clear plastic that lite up on the side lol.

But I can agree that the lite up might not appeal to the older customer based.
