Ok not worried or anything but to the people that have done this how long does the email usually takes? Has apple specified how long the process could take thru the night
Interesting. Looks like I just got my "your items are ready for pickup" email from Apple. Of course, it's 10:21PM, so I'll be by in the morning.
Usually in the morning around 7am-8am is when the email is expected.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but do the store inventories get updated at 10pm local time? or can you see the updated west coast inventory at 10pm east coast time?
I am currently waiting for 10pm to roll around here in AZ. Anyway, I have been trying for the 16GB White AT&T for 4 days, and nothing. Can I add a 16 AND a 32 to the cart to check for availability, and then just purchase whichever capacity is available? I didn't want it to screw up availability because I have more than 1 iteration in the cart. My partner does not need 32GB, but I would rather spend the extra $100 and get it over with if need be.
I had 2 in my cart, worked fine.
Picked up a black 32gb in Dallas for AT&T and back to back picked up a 16gb as well from the same store. For some reason my credit card did not accept so I just used the discover and it went through like a charm. Just going to wait for email in the morning and going to go by the store and pick up both.
64gb in black AT&T @: Skokie, schaumburg, naperville, oak brook, northbrook, chicago, St louis, Tulsa, Birmingham.
Seems like most of us are in the same boat. I have been trying to find an iphone 5 for over a week now. I am on a reserve list at several local Radio Shacks. Last night I tried order at 10 pm for next day in store p/u but it seemed like the stock never refreshed. I checked every Apple store in NY/NJ/PA/CT and none of them had anything available. Im in the Albany, NY area. Will keep trying the order at 10 pm deal. Heres hoping.

I found the iphone 5 available for Sprint at many locations here. A few for Verizon, and NONE, for AT&T, which is my carrier.
Are you manually checking each location?
I guess Chicago ran out because I tried 20 mins ago and none are available for pick up![]()
Manual with 2 browsers and different models to get an idea of inventory, stock, update times and chance of completing transaction. I started with Eastern time zone to get an idea of when to be looking for updates and by what time the "GAME IS OVER" and time to wait till the next day or local in store walk ins.
is the best method just hitting locate over and over?
fingers crossed in bay area![]()
