This is frustrating. There hasn't been any black 16GB AT&T at The Grove for like a week! Are they not getting any shipments?

Not in NYC store but in other stores as long as they have stock. Usually they are sold out of AT&T but have stock of sprint and some verizon. You might have to change colors or bump up/down in size to choose something in stock.
 
No luck in Sacramento.

I figure they ship these in batches to different regions, maybe once or twice a week to each region (and different models in each batch). Those of us wanting to get a phone this way just need to keep at it.

15 min of clicking Locate every night... joy!
 
Second night in a row where ATT 32GB (Black and White) can't be found in AZ.

If they were they were gone within seconds.
 
To guys in SoCal: I got one last friday in Irvine and it was really easy to get one. I waited until 9:57 and started clicking the locate until the status showed in stock.
Until 10:05, they were all gone :D

Same here only 3rd night in a row. I click click click from like 9:50 to 10:10. Not a single Black or White 16GB ATT in AZ.
 
i heard from an apple employee that they can get shipments in at around 4am and THOSE can be sold on walk in basis - although they are sole within an hour.....

anyone else hear this?
 
Did you check 32gb and 64gb to get an idea if the store received any stock at all.

I have done that with 64GB but not 16GB as I will NOT be buying a 16GB. If there is any 32 or 64 ones they are being bought within seconds and stock is likely incredibly low.
 
I would like to make reservations for 2 iPhone 16GB: 1 black and 1 white. The reservation system doesn't allow you to choose different sizes or colors if you choose a quantity of 2 units. Do I have to do two separate reservations? Would Apple ignore the second reservation at the same store if the email and phone number are the same? Would it be possible to reserve for example 2 black 16GB iPhones, and then ask to replace 1 with a white at the store?

With the exception of the 24 hour stores; nobody is in the retail stores at 4am and I doubt the delivery services just leave their shipments out back like a stack of first edition newspapers. That employee is misinformed.
 
Picking it up shouldn't be a problem if I'm an authorized user on my family account, correct? Its an upgrade from a Galaxy S3.

I called 35 local stores yesterday and finally found one at Radio Shack. He agreed to hold it for 2 hours, but I was there in 15 minutes. Had to settle for 16GB, wanted 32, but not a necessity. I didnt even know Radio Shack sold iphones until yesterday. Good luck to everyone still trying.

Just got both my reservation order emails. They are ready for me to pick up at the local store and the email came around 7:15 am.
 
This is gonna be a little long so bear with me...

Was lucky and got my iphone 32 gb Black Friday night :D (did the little happy dance) to my local store (bear in mind that this is 2 hours away from me). Saturday morning received my confirmation email that iphone is available but unfortunately I had to work so I called the store and told them I would pick up on Sunday. No problem. Going good so far.

Sunday get to store thinking like everyone else 10-30 minutes and I'm out of there. WRONG - 5 hours later they can't get the iphone activated and I have to go home without my iphone :(

Monday after talking with store manager for almost 2 hours on the iphone still no luck getting it activated and they can't figure out what is going on. They cancelled the order and tried to purchase it outright. Still nothing stupid thing won't activate and gets an error message from Verizon.

Tuesday talked to different manager who is extremely nice and helpful but we are still not getting anywhere with this iphone. We spend a total of maybe 2 1/2 hours on the phone. He has talked to Verizon and there is no problems that they can see. By this time he is getting frustrated too and says this is ridiculous. This has now gone to priority level 1 in apple and I have a team of 15 techs/upper management working on this. Aren't I the "lucky" one :eek:.

I asked if maybe we should just try a different phone because apparently this one is "possessed" lol.

Now its Wednesday morning and I haven't heard anything yet :( and still without my iphone.
