I have seen the in stock in NYC a few times, but nothing in philly. I refuse to drive 2 hrs to pick up a phone, silly.

The answer is no for most people. But some have said that Apple has sold them some full price iPhones obtained through the reservation system. Most have failed. At least I did.

I had no problems with an unsubsidized purchase online. Entered my phone number and other details in the upgrade eligibility process, system said, "sorry, you're not eligible for an upgrade, you can buy at full retail" added phone to my cart, located one in a store at 10pm, got the email at 7am, showed up at 11am, out the door at 11:15. Not a single hitch.

As stated not a damn thing in atl. I'm more pissed then my wife and the phone us for her.

i randomly looked at the EC and saw there were some 32 black verizons available at the 5th ave. store in NYC. checked a half minute later or so, gone.

There were White ATT 16GB in 3 locations in NYC and NJ. THey were gone within 2 minutes. Still nothing NOTHING EVER in the Lehigh Valley store that has no other store near it within an hour drive. WTF???????????

Wait ... Very few and way too many people trying to get these.

Every time I walk into an apple store and I see about 16 iphone 5's just sitting there on display I shed a tear. If only they would just box one of those up I'd take it.

No stock anywhere near Rochester, NY...not Buffalo, NJ or Connecticut. Love Apple's ability to anticipate demand.

anybody else just thinking about ordering it through apple and waiting the 3-4 weeks? This reservation system is getting annoying.

I'm not patient enough to wait the 3-4 weeks. I'm pretty sure that by the time the 3-4 weeks rolls around the stock in the store would have gotten good enough to supply the demand.

Why not just wait a couple weeks and then just buy at your convenience?

Guess I just don't understand all the frustration. I suppose the impatient folks who sold their only phones weeks ago might be in a bind. But that's a calculated risk they chose to take and have no reason to complain.

My thoughts exactly...but with our luck it'll get worse there still won't be any available and the shipping time will go to 5-6 weeks
