Thanks for your help! However I just find it weird, that it would go from Ontario, Canada all the way to New Brunswick, Canada. The final destination of my phone is Toronto, Canada. We weren't affected greatly by Sandy, so there shouldn't be a problem. If anything, I was more surprised that it made it here from Louisville earlier today.

Will continue to monitor... hopefully it was an error, and will be back later today.

Edit:

Looks like it was an error after all! Arrived at Concord, Ontario about 2 mins ago!

My iPhone is headed to Toronto as well, and it just went from Mount Hope straight to Concord without any weirdness:

My phone stayed in preparing for shipment for about 3 days and now it seems as it going in to stay in Alaska for a couple of days.
 
Mine Is supposed to be delivered on Friday, but I will be at work that day. If you're not at home to sign for it, how do you go about getting your package?

Do they leave a note for you to pick it up somewhere or do they attempt to redeliver it the next day? UPS will be delivering it.

Yeah, it needs to be signed for. On the Apple website, under your orders, there is a "pre sign" that you print out, sign, and attach to your door. Im not sure if i would want me phone outside waiting though.
I believe the UPS tag they leave on your door will have options for you as well. Good luck!

You might want to go ahead and call UPS...a couple of folks on other threads are reporting that UPS just left their package at their door. They are supposed to obtain a signature and they are supposed to try 3 times to deliver, leaving a delivery notice each time giving the person the chance to make plans to be at home to accept and sign for it, provide an alternate delivery address, or give permission to deliver to a neighbor's house (...signature required). These folks are busy so I don't think the "supposed to do this and that..." is being followed. Please call them to see what options they have for you...I also shutter at the idea of the phone just sitting outside. Take care. :)

Affected Areas of Sandy

Did anyone in the affected Areas Tracking Resume and show An estimated Delivery Date. Im in the philadelphia Area In Upper Darby My package says in transit but Not sure what mode of transport it takes from Kentucky to Philadelphia. Also I dont show an Estimated Delivery Date Anymore
 
YES! Made UPS hold the package today and I finally picked it up :) About to open this sucker up after Verizon activates it.

good luck! KY customs makes me *cringe* now. Not fun :(
 
Wonder if my phone just left on the flight out of DFW to go to Orlando. I live in NY, so the Sandy delays are inevitable.

what's concerning me now is that nothing says my phone arrived in Kentucky. At least the last group had their phones arrive and then be "imported" right before departing. I just want my phone :(

I hear ya. it was stressfull:eek: but it will come.

This was my status in regards to that. No one was every able to get a straight and consistent answer from UPS or Apple.

Mine didn't technically "arrive" in Kentucky either. I think our phones have been in Kentucky since late Friday/early Saturday after departing Alaska, so they just bypassed arrival scanning. Lets hope now that our phones depart Kentucky soon and are delivered tomorrow as scheduled.

My phone is still in Alaska been there almost 2 days now per ups.
