I think the phones from ATT, Verizon, and Sprint come from wherever that phone company has a warehouse or wherever they store their phones. Phones ordered from Apple come straight from China. Lots of people have been posting about theirs being FedExed from Texas. I'm in Texas but I ordered from Apple so I have to wait for mine to get here from China. That being said...

I ordered a white 16gb iphone 5 on October 6th from apple.com. I also stuck one of those things on my door so they don't have to get a signature because my doorbell is broken and I didn't want them to not try knocking even though there's a "please knock" sign. Too many stories about people being home but still missing the delivery for me to risk it. My dogs are too lazy to bark if they heard a person at the door.
I just want my phone now :(
 
Ordered 32GB Black iPhone 5 from local AT&T Store on Oct. 8th.
Was quoted 2-3 weeks, the 3 week mark is Nov. 1st.
Just got my Tracking number today, Oct. 31st
Estimated arrival is Friday Nov 2nd (shipping from TX)

I'm super EXCITED, feels like I've been waiting for ever. Official pre-order opened Sept 14th and I had to wait till Oct. 8th to place my order. I was granted early upgrade but only until I hit the 12-month mark of my contract.

I already have a few cases for it, haha.
 
Finally got my phone! I was seriously waiting by the door watching for the truck for the past hour. 16gb white ordered Oct 6. at apple.com. ordered applecare+ over the phone as soon as I got it.

Just hang in there to those that haven't received your phones yet. Remember it is on its way. Also, don't worry if it is still in Kentucky the day or even night before your expected delivery. Somehow UPS gets the phones to your local hub early the next morning to be on the truck for delivery that same day.

And my phone is flawless! No dents, scuffs, scratches, or rattling.
 
Ordered from the Corporate Verizon online store through my employer on 10/10. It's a 16gb black on Verizon (switching from AT&T). Being delivered today, 11/1
 
Looking for some info here - fedex hasn't updated my tracking information since the 30th, which they had put on there that they were delaying the shipment due to the hurricane. However I haven't seen anything lately that they've been delayed and it's been over a day... but I also haven't seen any arrival scans at any places. Anybody know whether FedEx just sucks with updating their tracking pages or should I be concerned that its stuck in Linwood, PA?

You can just grab a SIM from a store if you want. If you're with Rogers, I have two extra LTE SIM cards. If you can come down here (downtown Toronto area) I'd gladly give you one for free; they're just sitting here and I have no use for them.
 
WiFi Not Working

Well the excitment the phone arrived!!!!!!!

Its lovely and in perfect condition aesthetically but and a big BUT :mad:

It will not see my network unless I'm standing right next to the hub, whats that all about. I rang Apple and they told me to do different things including a restore and update but still nothing. They then said "is it a network issue" but I have another iphone, iPad, Laptop all connected to that network and no problems (I cant even see my neighbours which I can on all the rest)

Now they have said they will arrange collection of this one and another will be delivered in 3 - 5 days :(:(

Now Another BUT I have just received the replacement order and that has a delivery date for the end of the month (I Don't think so). So when I get home after my night shift I will be phoning again luckerly its a freephone number

Yep, Apple.ca.

I'm currently with WIND, switching to Telus...
So I can just start using a Rogers SIM as a pay-as-you-go kind of thing? Not sure how this works exactly, but it'd work great as a placeholder SIM while I'm waiting for mine!
 
Purchased October 30 online at 10:04 pm. Picked up the phone next day at the Apple store. It took less than 24 hours.

I walked out of the store and used the navigation with no misdirections at all. Infact the nav has been flawless.

If you were with Rogers, you'd just have to call in with the number on the back of the SIM card and it would be activated to you account.

If you'd like, I can still give it to you. But, since you don't have an account with them you'd have to set-it-up as a pay-as-you-go account. Not sure what they charge for that. If you want you can call and ask them.

Either way, I have three extra SIM cards just sitting here. You're more than welcome to have one. Just send me a DM and I can give it to you.

My order has now been pushed back to November 9th from November 5th, I ordered on the 21st of September. My carrier sucks.
 
Just received my iPhone 5 black, it has scratches around the lightning connector, on the chamfered edge and where the screen meets the phone. Bought from Apple so going to give them a call.
