Or maybe it isn't, and instead, it's real!! I know..shocker right? (wish I could emphasize the sarcasm here with the house character).
Yeah, your comment was edited because of an immature insult at me. And I would give credence to your opinion because? Why would you say it is real, though? I'd like to know. Where in the pictures is there any sign that it is an AT&T store? Why are such shoddy packages being used if it is? As I demonstrated in my previous comment, you can buy "iPhone 5" cases by the box on eBay right now at this very moment (in fact, there are 9 pages from which you can choose). What tells you this guy isn't simply a reseller who ordered some generic cases? I don't understand. When you can answer these questions with absolute proof, I will rescind my skepticism.
Easiest thing is to see another AT&T store employee post some photos. Surely another store has received them and has someone willing to snap some shots.
Bingo. If it were true, this would not be the only store receiving shipments. I worked in retail and I know how it goes. If you are friends with a manager (or a manager yourself), it would be simple to take a peek inside of one of these boxes in the stockroom and take a photo while staying anonymous. If it were true, we'd have more widespread cases with evidence of them being inside actual AT&T stores.
