And I have had my iPhone 5 not in a case since November 2012 and it's done absolutely fine.

Aside from normal wear and tear.

Good job - We have used iPhone 5 and 5S in my company since each of them launched and there is no doubt which model has the worst coating - just saying..

Besides the 5 is still a nice phone - no doubt, but I would opt for the 5S

After giving up my black 64gb 5 on 7.0.5 jailbroken for my 6 and then 6+. I miss that phone. I have thought about getting another black 5 and just using it every now and then, case-less and letting it get a nice used/wear pattern.

If I'm not mistaken it was only the earlier 5 models that had the coating problem. Pretty sure there was a silent fix as the replacement 5 I got looked pristine until the day I sold it while the original 5 I got on launch day was scratched/chipped within a couple of weeks.

iPhone 5: Is it worth it?

Yes, it is worth it. However, please try to avoid the seller William N. on Swappa (http://swappa.com/user/SEQ970/profile)

This is what I have bought on March 1: http://swappa.com/listing/UBL725/view

The seller's feedback looks pretty good, with many full stars.

The iPhone looks perfect and has no dents/scratches/dings right?

However, that is not the case, as the seller had used camera angles and lightening to hide all of the major flaws of the phone.

Here is the actual phone with all the dents/dings: http://share.pho.to/8xgOO

Buyers beware :O

The advertisment says "good condition" and not very good/excellent/mint. The seller also states that there are marks on the phone and that if you require more photos you should ask. Bearing this in mind and also that you paid a good price, I don't see any problems. If you wanted a phone in near-perfect or even mint condition then you should have ponied up for one.

I would like to see how Ip5 will perform on next IOS, certainly will be the last , bye Ip5
