In this age of advancing technology, sooner or later, sometime or later,
Apple will make the iPhone slimmer.

It would be Awesome if the iPhone 5 would be as slim as the iPod touch 4th Gen. iPhone 4 is just like a brick

Slim is nice... But too slim isn't so nice. I don't want a phone that breaks a part when I have it in my pocket and sit down.

Most of the space in the iPhone is the battery, so unless battery technology gets better I don't see the iPhone getting any thinner.

You don't know this to be true. Why write it in the title like it's fact?

And why do you STILL have that signature line? It is October 22.

A brick.
A BRICK.

WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM.

The sound you just heard was my head hitting the desk. Repeatedly. Please, stop.

Also: September 30th is long past. Get over it.

Lol I love how you haven't changed your sig yet. So hilarious. At least you're not posting blatant troll-threads anymore (well, less blatant).

Imagine as hard as you can... but your iPod touch will not be as cool as the iPhone

yea i wouldnt want a thinner phone. It would feel flimsy and most likely break faster. I could use a bigger screen though. Not too big. IMO 3.7 inch is perfect.

Exactly. I like thin but if they gave me an iPhone 5 that was half the thickness of the iPhone 4 then I'd be looking at it and thinking "if only this was the same thickness as the iPhone 4 then it would have twice as big a battery and twice the battery life".

Right now the iPhone 4 can do about 10 hours of serious usage. Once they can get that up to 30 hours (so that I could go away for a long weekend without needing to pack a charger) that would be about the point when I wouldn't mind them working on making it thinner.

There's nothing flimsy about the Touch, but it won't happen as soon as the iPhone 5.

I look forward to their getting rid of the bezel at the top and bottom. Yeesh. Just gimme screen.

Flexible. I want to fold my iPhone 6 up into a compact 3" square, and unfold it to a 3"x6" phone, then unfold it 2 more times to a 12"x9" killer tablet. When I'm not using it, I just fold it up and stick it in my pocket.

(Sizes may be approximate. 2.5" square would still be good.) :D

When I read the term "Bag Phone" in post #12 I first thought Rajani Isa was talking about an Android phone which are so ugly that they have to be carried in a bag! :D

Then I remembered the first mobile phone I had was a real bag phone that had a battery that was the size of a real brick. Something that the OP knows nothing of.

There is a such thing as too thin, I personaly don't like the new iPod toutch design,it's too thin. Plus the sleep buttion is in an awkward position
