iPhone 5 to have 4.44" Screen!!!

That would be sweet if that's the case!. As long as it has a 3.7 inch or bigger screen, I'm happy. We'll find out tomorrow.

Apple is the leader and will have 6" screens in the iPhone 5 w 3280x1840 resolution
 
I would hope Apple would make this change, rather than just an internal upgrade. I play with a Samsung S2 this weekend and it makes the iPhone look a little dated. Not only on size and weight, but its so fast.
 
hmmm...I remember Steve Jobs said case makers were the #1 reason why hardware leaks happen.
 
If that's the new iPhone 5 I'll be all over it like syphilis.

I'd be surprised if they launched only an iPod touch with a bigger screen, I think it would piss quite a few people off.
 
There's a shortage of hysterical, crazy, rumors this time. Frankly it's worrisome :(

But this one's pretty nutty. Perhaps there is hope.

I would say this... Hard candy is making 50k cases for a screen we know has not been produced in any quantity. That alone should be pretty strong evidence a new iPhone will not have that screen.

It could be a new touch or 3G touch that will come out in a month or so. I just think it is highly unlikely they could have tamped up production of a new screen to meet iPhone demands with nobody knowing.

Yeah that would be beyond stupid..far worse to me than not bringing anything big out.

Doesn't make alot of sense to make that many cases if it isn't here till next year.

Straight from the article Hard Candy CEO Tim Hickman says:

"We've placed our bets"

Which means; they're guessing. It's probably an educated guess. More educated than anyone posting here, as I haven't seen anyone mention 4.4" thus far, but still a guess.
