iPhone 5 Walk-in-Odds

I usually pre-order, but didn't this time around. I'm planning on going into the larger Boston retail store on the 28th or 29th of September.

Anyone have any idea on the odds of grabbing a 16GB Black 5?

Don't want to make the trip if it's completely unrealistic.

It's highly possible. Boylston is the Northeast's flagship store, besides NYC 5th Ave. They have tons of stock.

Yeah, I'm actually thinking about going to Boylston to grab one on this Friday or Saturday as well. Not sure though if:

a) The chance of getting one if I walk in around 6pm (you know ... had to work on this exciting day)
b) Do they get shipment in on Saturday? (Might be better IMO)

I'd love if the stock status page site is up as well. I hope they'd make that available very soon.

I'm going to get a 64 black. Hopefully sure that would not be so popular ... amirite?

Just realized I got my iPhone 4S 2 days after the release date, on Sunday, at 3PM. So I guess the orders are coming in in the weekends allright ...

I guess going to the Apple Store at 6PM on 9/21 might be my first try, then I could try again on Saturday ... It sucks that I won't be able to stand in line in the morning on 9/21 (*cough* need to work *cough*) ... wish me some luck then!
