Interesting. Just downloaded and applied and the menu bar isn't transparent. I've used backgrounds like this before and love the effect. Not sure what's different. I doubled checked it and even tried repositioning it so I could see the lighter bar at the top. Odd.

had a bit of trouble with this, the emboss/engrave effect didn't work so well with the shield, but these are what i came up with:

Here's one those of you with black iPhone 5's may like. It's a picture I took of the back apple of my phone. I like it as a wallpaper. Enjoy!
No, it wouldn't be possible because of the transparency. The grey background of the image is the closest to white that any part of the image can be in order to make it appear seemless.
I tweaked my wallpaper even more with drop shadows on most of the objects making it all appear to be 3D. I even gave the camera icon and the 'slide to unlock' bar a shadow along with a cool effect behind the bar.

It's a font I had found a while back. It's called "MV Boli" but I'm not sure where i got it.
I used an OLD vertsion of Paint Shop Pro to do this and had to hack it pretty bad to get the end result (which is still not perfect). It would probably be easier for you to just tell me what the Italian translation for each text is and I'll modify it when I get a chance.

I tweaked the Mario Brother's one to match up with the lock screen "slide to unlock" bar!
This is awesome. Could you maybe use the other image with Mario more in the center? Also, could you remove some of the blue sky so there is just black beneath the underworld so that nine of the image is interrupted by the dock icons?
