bought a 5s, played with one night, realized im tired of fragile phones that arent comfortable to hold, promptly returned for a white 5c and loving it. Coming from a 4s. Never liked the 4s design, its always been wrapped in a bumper. I loved my 3g and 3gs plastic phones so glad plastic is back.

That's how a lot of people are feeling towards the 5s / 5c I think!

I myself was a little tired of having to protect my phone and didn't enjoy the feel of the 5 in my hand in the slightest. That's why the minute I held and saw the C in those amazing array of colours I knew I had to have one!

First day back in work today with my phone since I got it Friday. Everyone was loving it! They couldn't believe how nice it felt and a lot of people said they were going to upgrade to a 5c when they had the choice rather than the 5s.

It's definitely one of those phones that you can't fully appreciate until you see / hold!

I got the 5s on launch day but after the weekend dont see the value in the device over the 5c. I am going to return it and get a white 5C. I dont like the way the 5s feels in my hand and hate using a case.

I'm reading these post everyday because I'm just that excited for my new baby to arrive tomorrow! These phones are incredible and there's no way to really appreciate them unless you actually hold one.

So I actually found a Speck Gemshell yesterday, but I'm not thrilled with it's design. The area on the back where the makes contact with the case makes a strange oily-looking mark which is ugly as hell, the case fits the phone a bit too tightly for my tastes (making it difficult to remove), and the edges are a bit sticky (in that it would be difficult to remove from my pocket).

So yeah...back to apples hole-punch case for now and the gemshell is going back to AT&T today.

What's your guys take on screen protectors? My iPhone 4 got fairly beat up after I took the screen protector off about 2 years into its life, but I would guess some of that is from being in the same pocket as my keys...something I can try to avoid when possible. Has Apple improved the screen or otherwise added some sort of scratch-resistant coating?

Never had a problem with the screen of these phones before, although my partner decided to use windex on my iPhone 4... yeah, don't do that. lol. Smudge marks for the next year ftl? I have this cheap case for my blue 5c which was supposed to be transparent but actually has a weird grey hue to it that makes the phone look awkward. It's going back in the next day or so. Haven't seen many cases which feels right yet. =\

:( atm I dislike you very much :(....mine doesn't get here till like Friday latest!! Hopefully it ships today and i get it on Wednesday lol

took the plunge this afternoon and returned the 5S for the 5c. No regrets! Love the way the phone feels in my hand over the 5s.

Can anyone help me out?

If I tap the bottom of the back I hear nothing. If I tap the top (under the camera) I hear a little click/rattle noise.

Is the normal for the 5C? People say it's the camera but I'm wondering if anybody else's does it.

It also happens if you shake it forward and backwards.

Happens with the 5 and 5S too, it's just the camera lens apparently, nothing to be alarmed about.

Just got mine this afternoon, loving it so far. It has the weight and substance that the 5 was lacking. Haven't used an iPhone since my iPhone 5 BENT last November and I returned it. It was cool to set up the 5C and see notes and reminders still there from a year ago!

I know others have said this already...but this is my favorite forum. So happy and positive :)

I'm not happy having to wait till the 26th, lol :)

Other than that I actually am happy about my purchase!! Yay just a few more days!!

Anyone else post any more green 5c pics, please!!!

I found this bumper by Qmadix today, which I'm really liking. It is good and solid protection for the edges, and from the face or back contacting a surface and getting scratched, but it's not bulky and lets the phone itself be pretty naked :D

man what is the point to put a bumper on 5c. The polycarbonate is designed to prevent from scratches.

I ended up getting the 5S but it was really hard to pass up that exact 5C model.

I'm actually happy to know Some people returned there 5s for the 5c. It really is that good of a device.

I bought a 5s used it for a day or so and ended up switching to the 5c as well. Once you hold the 5c it's so much more ergonomic. Never liked the chiseled edges of the 5 design. The design has gotten so based on looks it seems Apple is forgetting the feel. The 5s looks amazing but in hand it's awkward. The material on the 5c also sticks to your hands a little better and it feels more stable in hand. I even noticed the battery life seemed better on the c now too. The s is nice but the touch ID just makes slide to unlock for notifications annoying. Why do we need this much security anyway with find my iphone? I can remote lock the device as soon as it's lost.

The speed of the 5s isn't even that noticeable yet in actual use. I'm guessing when apps are written to take advantage of 64 bit it might feel faster but given how long that will take the 6 will likely be out when a lot of them are rewritten.

Games like to have a broad audience especially younger generation and writing a game that only works on the 5s is unlikely, hence it'll be the same content just higher frame rate on the 5s, but will still need to run on the 5c and itouch, and games is really where the 5s will shine at least short term.

The m7 is cool but again needs apps to make use of it.

Just my 2c. I personally love the 5c and don't understand why people hate them so much.

add me to the list of 5S to 5C converts!:)

Just returned my 5S and picked up the green 5C....was tossing up between the pink (I like to think of it as watermelon) but the idea of having to explain repeatedly to my work colleagues my choice of colour being a male got to me and bang...the green it was....

Colour is great and enough vibrancy to make the right impression...

I noticed that my sim holder when inserted into the iPhone doesn't sit flush...it is slightly deeper than the surround...not a biggie but you can certainly feel it when you run your finger across that side and it catches....given the smooth lines of the C it is a bit off putting but I'm sure I'll survive...

Anyone else with their sim holder not sitting flush??

Best form factor, feel and weight that Apple has produced thus far in my opinion!:)

Warning to 5s buyers, don't spend too much time in this thread. The people's positivity in this thread mixed with the amazing colors may have you converting to the c!

Yeah mine is same way, very slightly recessed

So i switched to the white IP5c yesterday from the 5S. It was a tough choice on color but made the decision as a "safe" bet. So now I am thinking I should have gotten a different color? I work in corporate america and have to be in front of customers 80% of my day in suits, etc. Thoughts on having another color outside of white?
