iPhone 5c purchasers! Thoughts / pics in here!

I got a 5S yesterday, but frankly was very impressed with the 5C quality and feel. I may be crazy but I'm seriously considering trading back the 5S for a 5C and saving $100. Why? Because I had a 5 as my last phone, and it doesn't feel any different. Also I am tired of babying my phone since the 5 was so fragile. I never use cases and never will.

Looking at online photos the green was my least favorite. But after seeing it in person it's my favorite now. The photos really don't convey any of the 5C colors properly. Also the plastic doesn't feel greasy like a Samsung (I've owned a note 2 and S4).

I'm going to go to best buy today and see if I can test one out My contract is up soon and I can't afford the 5s so the 5c looks like it'll suite my needs.

I have had my 5C for 24 hours now and I must say it is a premium phone. Very nice. The only thing that was plaquing this phone was it was rumored as "cheap." As it been speculated as lower cost then people would not be so "down" on it. Personally I like the look and feel of it better then my 4s or the iPhone 5 and when comparing it to the 5s I like the aesthetics better on the 5c. It's just really really nice and feels comfortable in your hand.

I can understand why it has gotten good reviews.

I'm loving my 5C but I had a question.

The volume bottons are solid and don't wiggle, but my lock button (on top) wiggles left to right a tiny bit. Is this normal? Does everybody else's do this?

It's better than the 5 though! My 5 lock button wiggled like crazy.

I am loving mine more and more, when I can get my hands on it that is.

My boy's are attached to it, they said they don't care it is pink because it just feels so lovely to hold.

I had doubts picking the 5C over the S, now I have none. I really am glad I went with the 5C. I think the 'haters' would change their minds if they spent some time with it.

Yup, mine does, only VERY slightly though. I didn't notice it until I checked after reading your comment about it!

Yeah, the Apple store photos definitely do not do these 5C's justice. I thought when I ordered mine from Verizon that it'd look too childish but it's pretty impressive how nice they are in person and feels rock solid. Need to find a decent case since the one I bought for all of $7 makes it look sort of weird.

I took the 45 minute drive to the nearest store just to hold both models and the 5c felt so much more solid and comfortable. So I cancelled my 5s and order and bought a 32GB green instead. Thanks to this thread

I just got a iPhone 5 on the ATT next program last week and taking it back to get the 5C

For me it was a toss up between green and yellow. Blue was nice as well, but the green just stood out. The photo doesn't do it justice. It's much more vibrant.

Keep the pics coming guys! I played with the 5c yesterday at Apple. Love them so much. They feel amazing to the touch. Do not feel cheap in any stretch of the imagination. And the colors are brilliant. They feel very solid and smooth. I never understood all the hate towards them.

18 hours after purchase I'm still loving the phone but I'm nervous as he'll about the screen being scratched. If the Apple Store or Best Buy had a screen protector for it I would have bought one, but neither store had any 5c accessories yet. Guess I'll order one online tonight.

5s/5 screen protectors will fit the 5c.

I'm really pleased to see so many people come into the thread and say how much they like the 5c!!

I'm also pleased at how my thread has turned into a largely positive place!!

It's great there are so many happy 5c owners and I like how a lot of people (like me) had every intention of buying the S until they saw / held the C in person and changed their mind!

I was out in a cafe today and the lad taking our order asked me if it was the new 5c. I said yeah and let him have a look / go and he loved it! Said he couldn't wait to upgrade to get one! Another one in the 5c fan club!

I'll try and post some more pics tomrrow with different wallpapers if people are interested!

Thought I'd make a thread for those who decided to purchase a 5c today or had one delivered after pre-ordering last week.

Undoubtedly, the star of today is the 5s - and that's cool. But I'm sure there are a lot of people (like me) who opted for the 5c for whatever reason!

So for me, I loved the 5c the more I looked into it after the announcement.

Today I picked up a Blue 32GB iPhone 5c and have spent all day setting it up, sorting my music, getting to grips with iOS7 (didn't download it on my 5, wanted to wait for new phone) and generally enjoying how the phone feels!

I'm really impressed with this phone. The build quality is great, the rounded edges along with the warmer plastic make for a more comfortable hold than the 5/5s' rigid cold metal and glass. My opinion of course!

Anyway, thought I'd share some pics! I really do love this phone!
Please share yours if you can so we can get a good feel for the colour and how it looks!

About time we had some 5c lovin from people who have bought one or are interested in one!

I'll be getting the 5c. I just need to decide on which color (blue, green or yellow). I considered the 5s but this is my first smartphone since a Blackberry I had a few years ago. I figured I don't need what's considered 'the best' as the 5c will definitely be an improvement over the cell phone I currently have .

Since I'm new to this, are there any benefits over going to a Verizon store rather than just ordering online directly from Apple or Verizon (besides getting it faster)?
