I got the white one and my fiancée the blue one. The blue one is very very nice. The white one is as well. All of them are, but the blue really does stand out.

iPhone 5c purchasers! Thoughts / pics in here!

Yeah about that... haha. I've tried everything to get them to disappear. Marked as read, deleted account, re installed, turned phone off. Nothing works?!

Have you tried Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calenders > Accounts
Just select the email with the huge amount of emails and at the bottom it should say "Mail Days to Sync". Mine is on 3 days.
Which equals about 50 new mails at best.
Why would anyone want a 5C and why did Apple waste so much time making so many 5C IPhones when they could have been making sure that there were enough Gold 5S's?

Here are pics of it in a green Apple case I got to go with it,I couldn't decide if I wanted the blue or green phone,but I really loved the blue,so I got the green case.
Gives it some contrast.
Not to rain on your parade, and it may be because of my issues with green in general (see my earlier post) but please god return that case. The blue is such an awesome color...that case makes it look like the phone just got a horrid case of gonorrhea (that, or you left it in water too long and algae learned to feed on polycarbonate).
Please, please....as a gay man, i'm begging you...just don't do it. At a minimum, it'll clash like hell with anything you wear as a guy, and anything you'd wear in Spring or Fall if you're a girl (I can think of a few winter outfits that you could make work, but that's just because white goes with almost anything...)
People have different wants / opinions.
FWIW I don't know why anyone would want a gold 5s... but that's where opinions set us apart from each other.
The 5c is a fantastic phone - and everyone who has one seems very pleased with theirs.

My green baby showed up by 4:30pm, it's fabulous. I did "set up as new phone" (taking this opportunity to move my active iPhone to my MBA, so it made sense to have a fresh start all the way around, including what music I drag over to iTunes from my workhorse MBP and archives (or from iTunes purchases if I forgot to back something up when I was housecleaning sometime)).
I'm using the black case while we still have lots of sunshine in our Indian Summer phase. It looks really great. Very understated from the front with just the tiniest rim of green between case rim and bezel, and wonderfully jazzy on the back. Then I'll switch to the yellow case to get through the time to the winter solstice. Gotta have sunshine, even if it's a plastic case on a phone. The green wallpaper is just stunning, like when spring breaks out in the mountains.
This is DEFINITELY the smoothest iPhone upgrade I have experienced. First time I was able to do the whole thing online; the handshake between AT&T and Apple on contract details was so much improved. I could never get it go before because of either living in a dead zone (zip code not served) or when the line I was upgrading was not the primary (i.e. login) account on my wireless setup. I always had to do it on the phone with ATT before. This just went like silk.
So this time it was like five minutes online to confirm upgrade eligibility, pop desired phone and cases into cart, check out, phone ATT to make sure what I would have to do later to make sure my unlim data plan would follow the new phone, and done, start waiting for deliveries. The iPhone came today, the cases had arrived on Monday, phoned ATT before I activated, all set there, then went ahead and everything works great. Joy! Hope you all will enjoy your new phones too...
PS. The UPS guy said he had just a handful of what appeared to be iPhone deliveries today out in the area's backwoods, but that in a city not too far from here (Oneonta) there was a whole lot of activity near the AT&T and Verizon stores. There's a SUNY campus in that city, and Hartwick College as well, so that makes sense. There is no Apple retail around here, you have to drive to Albany for that.

For all we know, the constraints in supply could have been due to 5s-only parts, such as the fingerprint scanner. Apple might not be able to squeeze out additional 5s iphones even if they diverted all production capacity away from the 5c.
I had a wonderful experience, too, in a nearby Verizon store. Hardly anyone there when I wandered in, they told me they had a few 5c's in stock, and proceeded to show me a couple. There had been a small line when they opened, but most were looking for the 5s. I picked out my green, they had me up and running in 20 min. smooth as could be, not a hiccup or hitch! This is in Geneva, NY, which also has a college, so I was surprised there weren't more people in there.
Yup, it is. More of a yellow cast than in a couple of my pictures...king of a warm lime, and what a joy to hold in the hand! Can't put it down...just want to fondle it

Loves it! So do I. These are nice phones. Got a pink for my daughter (She's 12).
Truth is? If the 5s came with the body and color choices of the 5c? I would be sporting one right now instead of the Space Gray 5s I bought myself.

The holes are honestly just a weird look in my mind, especially since they're only on part of the case. Case manufacturers have had a good lead time on the 5c, so there are some really impressive cases out there. You've got 30 days to return the one you have, so i'd recommend checking out a few "best iPhone 5c case" articles to see if anything just blows you away. Perhaps get something more durable, offering a second function (a friend of mine has a wallet case that you can slip an ID and a credit card into) or as these cases demonstrate, can offer some awesome patterns to go with the color you've chosen:

Just play around with it, look at everything. If you're not going to go naked (which would be my choice since the blue is so hot) get something that accents it.

You picked the 5c in part because of how it looked. Don't sell your awesome phone short by picking a stock case. That's like shopping for a killer fall outfit and only looking at H&M (or Banana Republic if that's your more your style). The best people mix and match to get the perfect fit. There's no reason to settle for anything other than what fits your personal style exactly.
I know your pain. I'm happy I got a black iPhone 5, Space Gray is just kind of...Gray. That being said, get a killer case that shows off how futuristic your phone is, and nobody's going to care what color it is. Since the 5 has been out for a year and it's the same size, go nuts.

They're not cheap, but holy ****, handcrafted wood. You're holding the most professional, highest class phone on the market. Why not get a case that makes you look just as cool. It's like color, but classier. It's why luxury cars have wooden interiors.
Great phone so far. Feels very solid in your hand. Quality, "ceramic" feeling back with a bit more heft than the iPhone 5 as a remember it, but lighter than the iPhone 4S. Basically the same thickness as the 4S, which is great. Yellow theme looks cool with the black and yellow border.
The case is kind of ridiculous. Excuse the iPad mini photos of the 4S/5c comparison...
I will carry this around tonight to see if I want to keep it or exchange for a 5S. She's a keeper for now.

They might make one of those (PRODUCT) RED ones for the holidays, you think? I would have gone nuts if I'd had to choose between green, orange, purple and white. I liked the yellow but lean more towards taxi when I go for yellow things; the 5C yellow is a little more sane than that, not washed out but more sunny than taxi. I liked the white but only with cases on it. I like the green w/ and w/o cases.
Anyway I'm glad I took the green, but laughingly agreed with a friend who said that "it's hard knowing I can only have ONE!!"
