Mine 64GB silver is tracking the same, but UPS says mine is coming tomorrow. I'm in IL though, so I'm a lot closer to Louisville than you are.

My apologies if this has been mentioned but if any of you live near an apple store and are In the market for a space gray 5S, try ordering online and choosing personal pickup.

I was in the 7-10 day shipping group and cancelled my order because the apple store nearby had a 64GB in stock.

Im in the 1-3 day shipping group and I ordered 2 16gb tmobile iPhones, one gold and one space gray. My order has been stuck at preparing for shipment since saturday night. Has anyone else ordered 2? Hopefully it will ship tonight since its the 3rd day.

I ordered around 3:10 eastern, 32gb AT&T silver, and I'm still in preparing-land.

Naw...I would just keep hoping, and checking local stores incase you can pick one up.

I ordered my Tmobile version 32G Gold like everywhere, says ships in October!! Also i called my att corporate store out of stock they say for 20 days or more, but called verizon they have 32G and 64G in stock...Blk only, but they do have them, i am tempted to just go down and pick one up!

Be patience wait for gold color or just impulse and buy today!

Does carrier make a difference in shipping?
My 32gb is also TMO.

I placed my order online and then went into TMO and bought a black 32gb the next day. Haven't opened or set it up yet. I'm holding out that I get a shipping an email quickly.

Thursday delivery?

More than anything else it depends exactly when you placed the order. It seems that a minute or two in the initial 15 minutes determines when yours ships from China.

My guess is that if you received order confirmation before 12:06 then you were in the first shipment(s) for Tuesday 9/24 delivery. My two were in the 8th and 10th minutes after the hour and they are enroute for Wednesday 9/25 delivery and they are different sizes and colors.

I was in the first, 12:02 on one and 12:05 confirmed 12:08 I think on second.
Fortunately AT&T is letting us keep our unlimited data plan and still giving the subsidized phone. I've been getting 2 each year since the beginning, this year my wife's as well as mine are the 64gb. Ordered in gray as I don't like the white on the face of other choices. Always keep in a case and can't see the back or sides well anyway. Supposed to be delivered Thursday, not sure why a day later than others I've heard. Didn't see an option for expedited shipping during checkout or I'd have selected that for sure. I got $465 64gb and $425 32gb for old 4s's on ebay appx 6 months ago, expect about the same from 5's. AT&T will unlock them making easier to sell. Makes it less painful on the pocketbook. I almost switched to Verizon as we're in Flag and no LTE, tested their 5 and slower than my limited 3g I had at the time, not sure about now though. glad I waited, LTE is everywhere now and a lot faster plus multitasking is a big plus. I don't blame you for keeping your unlimited, that would be foolish to give up.

Mine is winging its way across the Pacific from Incheon, Korea to Anchorage, Alaska aboard KAL flight 213:

Cargo hold #2, Pod #H1, Bin 1-H-103. Third layer from the bottom.

I don't know where in the layer it is, but I hope it is near the center to protect it from over aggressive fork lift drivers!

At any rate I should have it by end of the day tomorrow.

I ordered 2, 1 from Apple Store online and 1 thru the Apple Store app on ipad, AT&T 64gb Space Gray at 12:08 and 12:03 am 20th pacific time, and they pretty much instantly went into processing although the app was quicker and easier. Status so far unchanged. Last year one from Apple and one thru AT&T, Apple was smooth, AT&T no so much.

Update: Just noticed appx 6pm pacific 9-21-13 1st one thru Apple Store App just went to preparing for shipment. 2nd one still unchanged.

Update: 2nd one same about 1/2 hr later

Received email this am from UPS my choice, that delivery would take place tomorrow, but just received another a few minutes ago they're both out for delivery, that's amazing, landed in Louisville around midnight, then 1500 miles to Phx and another 150 to me, in less than 12 hrs, that's 137 miles per hour minimum, yay UPS!

Tired of guessing

I just ordered my 5s yesterday (Gold 64 GB) around 11 AM EDT, and have the shipping date of October. I would love some feedback from those who ordered their phones later in the day on Friday, or more recently. Most people posting here seem to be those who ordered within the first few hours of launch. At least maybe we can get a feel for where Apple is in terms of fulfillment of 5s orders, at the moment.

I ordered my through APPLE on September 20, 2013 around 9:30 am EST my order still has a shipdate of OCTOBER which i find unacceptable. This is AFTER I stood inline at the Miami store and they were telling us yes we have verizion phones left (It was only the 5C or 5s in 16g Black which I can do nothing with) If you ordered from your respective Cell carrieier you got an exact ship by date but apple choose to give loyal customers an entire month of guessing. I want some answers and atleaset an estimate of when they hope to fulfill my order.
