I'm gonna just pick up another one at the store today. I'll let you all know if I have any issues with another phone.
Did you get a new one? hows that operating?

The only crashing I've experience is sometimes I press on the settings icon and it just craches and dissapears... Press it again and it works...
He believes that the phone's processor (or brain as he called it) doesn't know that the OS is 7.0.2, but all of the apps do, and that's causing conflicts in the system which is why it's crashing. Or so he says.
I did, today. It hasn't crashed so far, but I haven't done too much. The sleep/wake button is very annoyingly loose/rattly, so I'm bringing it back tonight. Again.![]()
They ran diagnostics and this time the support guy immediately noticed that their diagnostic tool shows me running 7.0 even though I updated to 7.0.2 last night before I went to bed.
Why wouldn't this happen to my iPhone 5? I get the minor app crash but nothing of what you guys are talking about. It doesn't make sense that it would do this on an upgraded phone, I also have iOS 7.
The 5S is running a 64-bit operating system with a 64-bit CPU. The 5 is all 32 bit. My theory is bugs in the 64 bit implementation.
Has anyone noticed it crashed on the app switcher? Could be a coincidence but not sure
Mine crashed 2 times while using airdrop. The first time the screen turned blue and then the apple logo came on. The second time just the apple logo came on. I'm thinking this are software issues, at least i hope they are. I feel like ios 7 is not optimized for the 5s. My friend's 5 is faster opening the multitasking screen and going to the homescreen from an app. I hope that this is fixed with ios 7.0.2
Yes, for me it has almost always, if not always been when multitasking. I'll wait to see if there is a fix with a future iOS update and hoping someone on here finds out...
Can you turn off airdrop somewhere in settings or is it always on?
