I went from an OG Moto X to the 5s and now the 6. Having the 5s I always missed the larger screen the Moto had. Couldn't be happier with the 6. I actually tried the plus at first but it was too big IMO.

Also, same boat as you, new baby so taking lots of photos and vids. Get the 64 if you do get one.

Had 5s and have now 6 and I don't regret it a bit. Just the battery life and the larger screen alone make it worth for me. I would suggest you go on the Apple store (if you have any near you) and play with the phone before.

Battery life is not that much better than the 5s unless you have the 6 plus and not the 6.

My company's contract allows us to upgrade every year but I probably would've done it anyway. I was very excited about the 6's larger screen. I use my iPhone for everything from emails, browsing, social media, notes etc, and do not want an iPad so I jumped on the 6. I haven't yet encountered a scenario where the bigger screen is an issue, it's only been a bonus so far. I'm a very happy ex-5s owner who upgraded to an iPhone 6.

I went from a Nexus 4 to 5S after doing the Android<>IOS shuffle several times. Finally decided that I really just don't care for Android, and the 5S is a fantastic phone. I did, however, miss the extra screen space, even as I told myself that the 5S was the perfect size. Now with the 6, I get to have the larger screen, while the thinness and roundness make it very pocket-friendly. That, combined with Apple Pay and the upgraded camera made it a worthwhile upgrade for me...it also put me back on the front-end of the update cycle, so I feel I'm less likely to be lusting for an upgrade come this time next year when the 6S comes out.

Well, it is for me. I unplug it in the morning at around 6am and plug it back on charge at 10pm on the evening and use it same as the iPhone 5s. It's even better then the Galaxy S5 I had.

This. Battery life definitely an improvement for me moving from 5s to 6.

I honestly don't know why some people went from the 5S to the 6. It's a very small upgrade and the 6 doesn't have any special new features like the 6 Plus. This is why I don't upgrade until every 2 years. Upgrades are much more significant at that point.

I didn't plan on it, but the screen won me over, and the camera is awesome. I couldn't be happier, but I don't plan on upgrading next year, especially since my carrier has now switched to requiring plan changes for upgrades, meaning I'm buying outright.

I'm sure there's a decent number of you here that made the switch from the 5S to a 6. And I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I had originally planned to keep my 5S since I'm not in my upgrade window (for another year  ). But I recently got a promotion at work and as a result I'm eligible for a company phone (or they'll pay $500 towards a personal phone). So now I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on an iPhone 6.

Generally I'm very happy with my 5S. I like the size and all of that jazz. The only real issue is I got the 16GB version and now that we have a baby at home the phone fills up very quickly with pictures and videos which is annoying. And I do like having new gadgets.

If I did get one it would be a 64GB. I won't make the 16GB mistake again.

I loved the feel and the look of the 5s and wasn't really sure about getting the 6 when it was announced, but I ordered one anyway and I couldn't be happier. Compared to the 5s or the 5, the 6 feels amazing in your hand. It's a lot nicer to hold and use.

The new hardware is an added benefit but the battery life and the overall feel of the phone are definitely worth the upgrade.

This is very much up to personal preferences as I 110% disagree.

To me the 6 is just wide enough to never feel secure in my hand especially with the rounded corners. Contrast that to the 5 and 5S which are always solid as a rock in my hand.

Everyone will have a different opinion on this so it's certainly up to each individual.

After using the 6 plus for 2 weeks, I went back to the 5s. I'll wait for the 6s plus :)
