iPhone 5s Orders Begin in the United States and Canada

I couldn't help myself. Just happened to wake up at 3:00 AM.

Strolled over and more or less automatically got a silver 64 GB.

This might be a dream. I'll find out tomorrow if I see an email from Apple.
 
Purchased. Just wish there had been the ability to nab one with in-store pick-up like last time. In store is only on first come, first served - no way to buy into the store stock. But 1-3 days will work.

Furthermore, they changed the "unlock" language on the ad, but not in the details, it's CLEARLY spelled out as being able to use any GSM sim. Not sure how you can't understand.

Ordered two (2) 5s - 64 gb At & T.

The 1st got in with the 1-3 business day shipping...
It only lets you do 1 carrier phone per order ... by the time I got the second order going at 3:12ish, the shipping had pushed to 7-10 days.

Going like hotcakes -- really limited supply, I'd assume.

Yep, I just resubmitted and it went right though. Least they're making an attempt not to upset people with ATT's and APPLE's silly systems that cant handle their own traffic.
 
Mine says it delivers Sept 27 - Oct 1. I did the faster shipping, so that's probably why it seems earlier than most others.

Let's just hope it comes the 27th because I had it shipped to work and that's a Friday!

What do you mean? The phone I ordered said unlocked on it. You're saying that's not at all true?

Mine was AT&T, 64GB, silver. Order complete. Keep trying, good luck!
 
Looks like you're screwed if on tmobile, every model shows 7-10 biz days.

Also all gold is practically done, all except one with sprint show 7-10.
 
2 32GB AT&T (Gold)... placed @ 3:05 & 3:10 AM, 7 to 10 days to ship...

Will I be able to cancel the order/reset upgrade eligibility, if I can find one for pickup in any local store today?

Zwop doesn't have a clue, it CLEARLY says in the description that it can be used with most global GSM sim cards. They changed the wording, not the product.
 
Sprint 1-3 business days

Ordered Completed.

Did a 32GB Gold for Sprint, 1-3 Business days shipped. Est Arrival Sept 30th -Oct 2nd.

Also did 16GB Silver For Sprint, 1-3 Business days shipped. Est Arrival Sept 30th -Oct 2nd.


I used the Apple website, worked great, no stalls. Order submitted around 12:10 PST.

The Sprint website was down for maintenance, so I went with Apple.com .

Hope this helps anyone getting something similar.
 
AT&T website

Those of you who ordered from AT&T's website. What were you told regarding shipping dates? I ordered a 64gb gold 5s at 3:06am EDT, but wasn't paying attention to the shipping estimates. My confirmation does not state when it'll be delivered.
 
Got one Gold Verizon 16GB for my Mum, showed 1-3 days

Ordered 32 GB Verizon for me, showed 7-10 days

Looking forward to the new phones :)
 
At 12:04:

USA 5S -> 1-3 days
Canada 5S -> 7-10

Not feeling very appreciated as a Canuck right now.
If the USA store would sell to us up here I'd have ordered the unlocked T-Mobile phone and shipped it here. Instead I have to ship it to Portland and then have it forwarded here via Reship or Shipito. It'll still get here faster than ordering from the Canadian Apple Store.
 
I had success in the US Online Store! Shipping in 1-3 business days!!

Problem is it's being sent to the account holder's address (my grandmother in Florida), and I want it to be sent to me here in New York. It's unchangeable on Apple's site. I remember this being a problem in previous years and I think they let me change it over the phone before, so I went ahead and got my order in with the incorrect address, and now I just need to try and get someone on the phone to see if it can be changed.

...also have to be up for work in 4 hours.
 
Snagged my Silver 32GB with AppleCare and the whole process took 5 minutes (that's with me making sure my sleepy eyes weren't overlooking any bad details like shipping address or color). Was hoping that they would have some sort of overnight shipping option as a "we're sorry for not doing preorders" bonus but 1-3 days it is. Should be here sometime next week.
 
64GB AT&T Gold for me -- like others, said 1-3 originally but changed to 7-10 by the time the order was placed. I'm kind of thinking the 1-3 wasn't actually legit in the first place, but hey, this actually works out pretty well for me as I'll be able to be home for the delivery the week it's slated to arrive.

Dang, time to go back to sleep. I'm getting too old for this crap. :eek:
