iPhone 5s Orders Begin in the United States and Canada

32GB Space Gray via AT&T site

Never could get Apple's site or iOS app to get past that AT&T error so I ended up ordering through AT&T's site. Had to log into my account and fight through a few error pages. Their site said expected ship date to be within 7 to 10 business days and the online status shows "Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation" right now.

I've got a "premier" / employee discount so I wonder if that's why Apple's site was having trouble?

Mine says it delivers Sept 27 - Oct 1. I did the faster shipping, so that's probably why it seems earlier than most others.

Let's just hope it comes the 27th because I had it shipped to work and that's a Friday!

How much extra was that to ship faster?

Also, if it's FedEx (my Apple stuff is usually FedEx), you can call the day before and they'll hold it at a local FedEx and you can get it there. IF you have the tracking number....

I bought 2 Black 64s (unlocked), and am getting the same delivery dates.

Those dates are always estimates and DO change sometimes ... usually for the better, but not always. But I leave on a trip on October 5th and REALLY wanted my phone before I leave!!!

Maybe I'll stop by some stores for fun and see if I get lucky.
 
Wanted the gold; bought the silver because it was the only At&t 64gb which still said 1-3 days.
 
16Gb Gold AT&T. In Apple website store at 00:02 when it went online, order completed at 00:05. No slowdowns on site, either.

They said 1-3 days shipping. I'm hopeful since my order was placed in the first 3 minutes that I'll be the "1" in 1-3 for shipping. Probably doesn't work that way, but one can hope. :)
 
just ordered 2 unlocked, one will be deliver between Oct 2-7 the other will be here by Oct 8-11!:D

I agree. Was just wondering if the 1–3 day people were USA customers, which I guess they were.

Try ordering through Apple... at&t was giving me 7-14 days shipping, while Apple was stating 1-3 days.

Problem is it's being sent to the account holder's address (my grandmother in Florida), and I want it to be sent to me here in New York. It's unchangeable on Apple's site. I remember this being a problem in previous years and I think they let me change it over the phone before, so I went ahead and got my order in with the incorrect address, and now I just need to try and get someone on the phone to see if it can be changed.

Had the same issue when I bought my 4S.
Just call Apple customer service and the address can be changed. Very easy process.

That was a horrible experience. I couldn't check out because when picking AT&T it restricts the shipping address to the address in AT&T's records. I live in an apartment and AT&T doesn't have my apartment number separated; in their records it's all on "line 1" of the address. Shouldn't be a problem except Apple checkout won't let me check out since it's not a valid address according to Apple. I can't edit it either. I switch to the unlocked version and by the time I do that the shipping times slip to 7-10 days. Lovely.

EDIT: I also tried ordering from AT&T. I have a company discount and when I try to order it pushes me to the premier AT&T account registration. When I try to register it says I have a personal use number and can't register with Premier, but I can't order any other way. Awesome.
 
Got it!

Ordered through the app. Got my confirmation email at 3:02 AM (eastern) for my AT&T Gold 64 shipping in 1-3 days. Super easy to oder, but the wait is going to kill me. :)

Good luck to everyone who ordered! Now - back to bed! :D
 
All gold models now show an estimated shipping date of "October" from apple.com.
