iPhone 5S rumors have been rampant the day the iPhone 5 was announced. No point in saying that this has just begun.

I don't know if Apple is complacent, or doing this on purpose..but i figure that they would be able to ship out a better iPhone every year. It's not like they have maxed out on innovations for the iPhone. They could copy features Android 4 has, call it revolutionary, and it would sell!

The only thing that might make Apple reconsider their iPhone iteration cycle is a sub-par sales result from the iPhone 5S. Every iPhone has sold more than the previous one, but this might be the odd one out..

Keep in mind Ive doesn't write code. He's an idea guy. Ideas need to be translated into software.

And Apple has enough talent to make the software, an idea guy is just as important as a software guy, they go hand-in-hand.

Steve Jobs was "an idea guy", and look what he did for the company. Here's pulling for Jony.

Anyone else doubting a fingerprint scanner?

1+ but it would be cool if it does have that.

I've been wanting to update my 3Gs since the 4g came out, then the 5 hit the shelves and was no longer supported by PPC. Now I have a new iMac and can't wait to upgrade my iPhone. Then later in the year maybe an new iPad Mini.

"Macotakara is also reporting that Japan's number one cellular provider, NTT DoCoMo, which doesn't currently carry iPhones, is reducing orders for Android phones for the Fall 2013 season. This move has caused rival carriers to speculate that DoCoMo is preparing to carry the iPhone." :apple:

Yes there are 100's of people at writing code, with an equal number of takes of how code translates to usable features. Ive doesn't need to write code he just needs to make sure the good ideas win the discussion and get developed.

Even maybe hunt down some the good ideas already mostly developed that lost in SF year. That to me is the point of having someone good at design in charge.

I hope it has more than just an extra flash and finger scanner.

Agreed....at this point the only thing that's keeping me from changing phones is iOs. They should get rid the iphone-XS lines all together. :apple:

X = 3,4,5,6,7...etc

People say this is why AAPL was up today. What, investors didn't expect the schedule iPhone upgrade?

I'm guessing S is for software this time around. I mean really there isn't a ton more that they can do to improve the hardware. CPU/GPU bump, camera improvements, and phone design are really the only things available right now. And a better battery of course.

So a finger print scanner, and improved flash? I really hope Apple would stop the "S" versions due to the Android devices (mainly Samsung) doing really well.
I just hope to god that iOS 7 is worth it, because iOS 6 was an epic fail and felt more like iOS 5.3. Here's pulling for Jony Ive!

Keeping my 4S and waiting for the 6.

Just curious what people object to about the "S" versions. The name? Seems trivial. The actual device has always been great.

No as the Motorola Atrix has a finger print scanner built into the power button:

If DoCoMo gets the iPhone in Japan, then it's game over for Softbank.

Please let it be true.
