are u serious? Buy the tmobile version is unlocked. I do not get people like you that always argue about the unlocked iphone yet it has been proved so many times already. I buy my iphones full price every year and they started to be unlocked from day 1 since the ip4.

Contract free and unlocked are different? LMFAO

You're entirely wrong. I don't understand why people who struggle to construct sentences try and argue things they're misinformed about.

I have even spoke with an Apple representative about it and they said that unlocked models do not become available until the supply of carrier specific phones is steady. I'm assuming that'll be by the holiday season.

Why on earth would they brand the full price option as "T-Mobile" if it was truly unlocked? It doesn't make sense.

It may have been the case with other launches (I believe it has been), but with the 5S it most certainly isn't in the US.

You can purchase unlocked models now. Apple does not sell T-Mobile contracts. They sell an unlocked iPhone 5s with a T-Mobile SIM card inside for you to call T-Mobile and activate an account after you receive the iPhone 5s.

Or, you can do like the rest of us and throw out the T-Mobile SIM and sue whatever SIM card you want since it's unlocked.

The T-Mobile version from Apple's website and retail store IS UNLOCKED! PEROID! Though you believe it otherwise it won't change that fact.

Allow me to refer you to https://www.macrumors.com/2013/11/2...hone-5s-models-in-u-s-with-1-2-week-shipping/

They are the same exact phone with the same exact unlock status. Geez what are you not understanding? Did you read the article? From your link:

For example, the T-Mobile iPhone 5s models sold by Apple have been unlocked since launch, although the company has not been specifically marketing them as such.

Who gave you the free estimate? Also, Apple just sent out a "shipped" email. "Delivers Nov 26, 2013 by 2-3 Business Days". The actual tracking number says by the end of Friday November 22, 2013 :) yayay, I will get my first iphone in less than a week after I ordered it late Sunday :p Former LG Optimus L9 owner here. Still prefer Android OS, but Apple's nice small phones and better app selection, and features like AirPlay, AirDrop... <3

UPS promised 11-22 initially, now 11-25 by 3pm... and I won't be here by 3pm on Monday. Great. Apple promised 11-26 in the email though.

Edit 10am: They changed to end of day Monday.. :) I guess, even though it's just 15 minutes away from me.
